I call it soda. And I think most people around Maine call it soda too, though I have also heard it referred to as a soft drink quite a bit. As for my favorite soda I'd have to say gingerale, Schweppes. I don't drink it very often though I'm a die hard water drinker! I'll take a soda over juice or milk any day though.

Well I had a GREAT Easter. I ate so much my pants were tight on Monday but they seem to be back to normal now. Sam got me a pound of my favorite candy that butter toffee that's coated in chocolate and nuts. I've done good though, instead of eating the whole box in one night I've only had two pieces so far! Course I've been kinda busy eating easter leftovers! I hope I don't offend here but I HATE rap music, more so I hate every damn commercial having rap music in it. Yesterday I even saw one for Pepto Bismol! I mean what in the world would posess people to come up with a rap song about diarrhea medicine? Seems like they think that music can sell anything! I say maybe they'd be better off to work on the taste of pepto bismol then to spend their time coming up with rap songs to sell the foul tasting stuff! Speaking of commercials though I LOVE that one for Dunkin DOnuts where the guy pulls up the the building and orders his coffee and no one's answering him. so he's like "HELLO anyone there?" and he looks over and realizes he's ordering into the trash can and not the speaker box! I nearly choked on my breakfast when I first saw that one. Reminds me of the time we were at a toll both and Sam went to hand the money to the toll booth guy and smacked his hand into the window cause he'd forgot to open it! That was so funny! I think that was the trip that I discovered Sugar highs weren't just an urban legend. We had gone to NY, Albany area and stopped at Cracker Barrel for lunch before we headed home. Well they have little gift shops there and I LOVE maple candy so I bought a big package. Sam doesn't like it so there fore I had to eat it all by myself. And I ate every last bit of it between the NY border and the Maine border. I was so hyper and laughign so much by the time we got home Sam nearly cut me off from maple candy all together! I'm not exactly Mr. Fun to take a road trip with in the first place. I hate just sitting there, and I have to stop at nearly every rest area to go to the bathroom. And when I'm bored I sing. And believe me my singing is really bad! He puts up with me though, he just does a lot of shaking his head and eye rolling and trying to think of ways to keep me busy so I won't sing! I'm worse then a little kid. lol Yes buddha I think Sam is just as hot as the Sam in Shane! I might be biased though! My cat scratched me when I was sleeping last night. Really bad too! It hurt like hell and kept stinging so I had to get up and wrap a cold wash cloth on it. And I think I was pretty ingenious cause it worked and stopped hurting. I realy gotta buy some Neosporin or something if she's gonna start tackling me like that! Well I guess that's all I have to say for today! I hope everyone has a good day!

I drive everyone nuts with my TGIF's. I just love Friday. Well Friday's at four. I always get that euphoric feeling at having two days off! My usual weekend routine is a bit off this weekend because of Easter but I guess I can survive not spending all of Sunday goofing off once in a while. Usually on Sundays I don't even change out of my pajamas. I call it my day of rest, even though I'm in no way a religious person, but I figure everyone deserves a day of rest! We're going to Sam's moms for easter dinner. Sam's my partner, just so I don't have to keep saying partner. (guess I don't think too hard to find names for my stories! lol) I was joking around the other day that I was too old to go on the easter egg hunt at the local grocery store. You have to be under 12. SOOO unfair! Of course even if I wasn't over the age limit I'd be too chicken to go hunting for eggs with all the little kids. Not in a grocery store full of strangers anyways. So I guess I'll just have to settle for pigging out on tons of food. Sam's mom is a great cook so I'm sure it will be YUMMY! I got my copy of brokeback mountain on Monday. I ordered it, I haven't seen it. I can't wait to see it but I promised Sam I'd wait until the weekend so we could watch it together. And I found out in chat the other night that it has a very sad ending so it's probly a good thing I have to wait for him so's he can hold my hand, cause I'm such a big baby when it comes to sad endings. Yup I got so into writing this blog I burned my breakfast! It's funny cause I only came here to do it, cause I figured it was about time I did another one. I didn't really have anything on my mind I wanted to say. And now look I'm going on and on without even any purpose! I do like to ramble I guess. Well I guess I'll eat my burnt breakfast now. I can't thing of a title for this blog. I'm sooo bad at coming up with titles. Hence my stories being named after they're main characters. If I had to go so far as to name every chapter I'd probly give up all together. I really don't have anything exciting to say. Just felt like writing something. My new story is a little over half done. Seems to be going good so far. I was stuck on a sex scene for a while, I just didn't think it was coming out right but I had my editor read it last night and he sure seemed to enjoy it so maybe it's just me. I have another story I'm thinking about posting. I wrote it a couple of years ago. It's all completed and my editor is actually editing it while he's trying to talk me into posting it. I've been leary about it because it's very violent in the beginning. I think even more so then Shane. The bad parts don't last as long though so maybe that'll make up for it. I don't know. I've thought about posting it for four days now and still don't know. It's raining here this morning. Was even snowing yesterday. It was beautiful because the flakes were HUGE. I just stood there staring and the girl I was standing with kept going. "Would you listen to me!" because I kept daydreaming. I'm awful about day dreaming I can get totally lost in day dreams and miss entire conversations, yet somehow I'm able to nod or go 'uh-uh' in appropriate places then later on I'm like 'wait what did that person just say?' and everyone's always saying to me. "I just told you that the other day." I don't think my memories that bad, I think I just dont' really listen most of the time. Which I should really try to correct. I like your suggestion Kevin about being "Creative Ad Executive" I think I'll use that from now on! Though yesterday I didn't want to be anything that had to do with ads. NOTHING was going right. If I could just make ads it'd be great but we have to follow all these little tiny stupid rules or we don't get refunded for our advertising. Things that are okay in one ad are suddenly not okay in another. Drives me nuts sometimes. Course it's a short drive. hehehe. My cat tries to type all the time too. What she loves to do most though is lay on the mouse. So I have to stick my hand under her to move it and sometimes she tackles me cause she thinks I'm playing so it can get pretty dangerous. Well I guess that's it for now. I have to be leaving for work soon. I sure hope today is better then yesterday!

I've always thought about doing a blog. I just tend to procrastinate things. I guess it's now or never though. My site designer says he has to have it made before he finishes my website which is tomorrow so here I am today trying to think of what to write! I guess I should by telling you a little about myself, for those of you who read this that is! I live in Maine, I'm 21 years old and I work making ads for a small company here and other odds and ends they need doing. It's a real laid back company so we get to choose our own titles, so I go back and forth between 'creative consultant' and 'ad executive' I don't know which I like better. I suppose the latter has more prestigue but I kinda like the word creative in my title. I am totally and happily in love with my soul mate and partner, we've been together six years and have lived together for three. He works nights and I work days though so we really only get to see each other on weekends when we're not sleeping. I have a cat. Her name is little kitty (guess i wasn't so 'creative' there!) we've had her for two years and she's a great cat, I love her a whole lot too. So I imagine some of you might be thinking 'who is this guy and why's he telling us about himself' So I'll tell ya! I'm going to have the great honor of having my stories hosted here. Soon as my website is done, for which I have to get this blog done! So if you would and have time and haven't already please give them a read and let me know what you think. Well I guess that's all my ramblings for now. This isn't so hard I guess. I have to get ready for work. It's supposed to be in the sixties today which is very rare for March in Maine. I can't say I'm too happy about it I hate summer, but oh well it's gonna come whether I like it or not!! Have a good day!

I got sent home yesterday cause of it too! Stomach virus that is not the flu. I came home and slept for five hours then was up for two and went to bed for the night. so in totaly I got 18 hours of sleep yesterday.

There's a couple of people where I work who are homophobic. They never say anything outright to me but I hear them a lot talking about it. And I mean a lot. And I always wondered if it grossed them out so bad why they talked about it sooooo darn much. I'd think if it was something they didnt like they wouldn't devote so much of their time to discussing it. I don't work in the same area as these people, and I don't hear a lot of what they say first hand. I feel bad though cause there's a woman that works in their area who has a gay son. I don't think she's told anyone. And I feel bad that she has to sit there and listen to their nasty comments day after day. But I've strayed from my point. I think the article must have some basis of truth to it cause I see no other reason why these people who protest it so would dedicate so much time to anything unless deep down they were somehow interested. I dont' know that's just my opinion.

My name is Vance, and people call me Vance. I am 21 years old and my birthday is April 22nd. I have been with my guy for six years and we live together. He's a bartender and I work in an office making ads and some other not so exciting stuff. I love to read and write. I'm immature and actually laugh everytime someone says the word 'fart' (i just laughed typing it for heaven's sakes!) I'd have to say I'm atheist but I don't really think about it much. I think I just dont' want to believe there's a god but I'm not entirely sure I don't so I have no idea what that makes me. Like I said I try not to think about it. I tend to be a klutz and fall UP the stairs at least once a day. I walk into walls and am always smashing some part of my body on something. I used the excuse of a depth perception problem for a while but my last eye doctor appointment ruled that out DARNITT! I have dark brown hair and brown eyes and am 5'9 inches tall and weigh about 150. I have a cat she's a big brat but I love her. (I say that now cause she's bugging me!) My favorite food is cheeseburgers, not Mcdonald type the big fat ones you find in little restaurants. Well I guess that's all I can think of for now!

I'd say my biggest fear is the dentist, yet at the same time I also have that fear of losing teeth. I have dreams alot that my teeth just crumble in my mouth and I'm spitting out teeth bits for half an hour. I think that's a somewhat sane fear so my weird fear is professional wrestlers. I can't even watch when a commercial comes on they all look mean and have no necks and sometimes wear weird masks and stuff. They just all really creep me out.
