Perhaps so, maybe because we can identify with much of what Eric feels. Maybe because having been young men we recall how young men think and Eric has admitted that as a young man he felt an attraction to Rob. While unintentional on your part his recent thoughts and behavior suggest to me higher hopes on his reunion with Rob than simple friendship.
I'd not given Eric enough credit. I feared his recent growth shaken to the core without considering his new found sense of self-evaluation. He recognized he'd behaved in a rude and ungrateful manner. Questioning whether he really wanted to return to how life had been. He also seems to understand that his parent's views were somewhat warped and not those of most people. It was serendipitous that Brian prodded him to come watch the Morris dancers. Eric's viewpoint took a turn when he realized the fun being had. The few days between gave both Eric and Andy a chance to settle their thoughts. Andy had a reasonable rebutal for each point Eric made. In some repects Eric reminds me of my grandfather. My granddad didn't like spaghetti, never once in his life had he eaten any but knew he didn't like it. Eric's thoughts on croquet reminded me of him. Perhaps if he tried it he might think differently. Then Andy got him to admit why he'd left without a word and admitted the things he himself has no interest in while firmly making it clear that doesn't allow room for judgement. You know I really don't like you talking us round from being peeved on Eric's behalf when what I really want is to sulk over his mistreatment by his friends.
So all is not lost. I do think Eric and Rob are a mismatch though with effort on both parts a friendship might remain salvageable.
No, you just need to have all the preceding years, that includes all the side stories, covered by the time you reach 100. Then you need to double down and write the White House stuff.
I remember Hillary Clinton seeking advice from Jackie O on how to handle living in the White House while keeping Chelsea out of the spotlight. I can see CJ and Owen working hard to balance their kids' privacy. Not sure which of the two dads would be scarier. CJ is kinda up front about things. Owen is a tiger once riled.
Howdy Texy. I won't need your mama to make me breakfast this morning. Mum and I are taking neighbors out this morning. We're going to a nearby place that offers a very nice breakfast buffet.
Liebe is as always adorable.
Thank you for the contribution to Penn State.
Well of course a couple of USAF cadets would feel a need for speed.
Surprise CJ and Owen were mentioned in positive light in a national magazine. Hope Northman isn't a subscriber.
I agree with CJ. I wish it wasn't news when any athlete or celebrity came out.
Hi Terry. Thanks for the hugs. I'm doing better, though this morning is a bit rocky. We have always had fun with Texy since he first joined CoTT as a barely legal biter. Things just aren't the same when he's not around playing with his missile.
Yep, saw that one launch ... fortunately many of the tourists currently visiting are Canadian so they weren't overly concerned, just grabbed brooms to help sweep up the glitter. The greatest concern is the glitter that drifted just off shore and frightened the migrating mama humpback whale and her baby.
Now you know why the Empress-mama has been making him so much nommy nom noms. She's so proud, pull-ups in his size are expensive. Particularly since each needed the great seal of office embroidered on them.
