Somehow I think the picture I have of you in overalls and sneakers isn't accurate since I know you're not an adorable twentysomething boy toy ...
  2. All during this reread I came upon Skinny's comments and was reminded of him, then I got to the end of the chapter and cloud in the sky ...
  3. The problem with binge reading is the tears from the last chapter barely ceased before the ones for this chapter started.
  4. I understand the tears. Here I am on the second read, I'd forgotten how this chapter ends ... the tears still stain my cheeks.
  5. My folks were fans of JFK and Jackie. My sister was born in July of '64 and named for her. As a kid I had a marble paperweight with his face and "Ask not what not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for you country." I read Profiles in Courage as a young teen during the Nixon years. Four years later Robert Paylor aided by a walker traversed 12 steps across the stage to receive his diploma as a member of the Class of 2020. 100 guests?

I started rereading this week too. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am. Just finished the chapter where CJ proposes.
  9. I can't quite believe my first comment was so, shall we say succinct, perhaps the mood of the time. This time I cried at the end ... guessing that sappy romance like wine improves with time and age.

A pleasant surprise and a very different Christmas to the year before. I'm not suprised that Liebe liked dancing. My mum used to dance holding my sister and I when we were toddlers and I did it with my son. We thought it great fun and still dance. Kids and snow. Forgot they would need to hold an end of year board meeting. Reverting to the original name makes sense. Is Third Line Development part of or separate from the foundation? It sounds like a separate entity. Making Rod part owner is a smart move. Giving him a stake makes it less likely he'd decide to leave, unlikely as that might be. It also gives he and Taisha some financial stability. Obviously, neither CJ nor Ritch need the income and their involvement will be limited. I think CJ's confidence in Pam well placed, in time she will be herself again.
  11. Next time the guys get to Philadelphia they need to get to South Philly and get an Italian Roast Pork sandwich. The Philly Cheesesteak gets all the attention but in my opinion the pork sandwich is better.
  12. Not to worry, it's Texas Imperial money complete with Texy's picture.
  13. Here ya go, just printed it myself.
  14. Yummy. I like the idea of a jambon-buerre as I haven't eaten yet today. I'm coping with another nasty migraine. Seems I've gotten into a 7-day cycle. Every weekend so far this year has brought a migraine.
  15. You're sending "bugs"? Well I see your bugs and I call in my Space Marines.
  16. Fake News! I can't help you're dealing in alternative facts.
  17. I'm sure. What did you have?
  18. Thankfully that's a crepe not on the menu at the creperie mum and I frequent.
  19. Who said anything about paying for them, I only said that you could have my share, which by the way is minuscule.
  20. I thought you only hid the things on the plate you didn't want to eat.
  21. Because I like you, you may have my lifetime allotment.
  22. Oh the horror ... next he'll be eating fungi. In all seriousness. I've no interest in trying escargot. I'm glad he's not a picky eater. The grandson of friends was very picky, at about the same age as your lad he'd only eat chicken nuggets. Stupidly his parents and grandparents let him get away with it.
  23. Hi Page.

    He'd likely cause flatulence.

Ya think that ancient biker from FL might want to move to DC? Lotta nice eye candy in that neighborhood.
