Oh I understood that. This is obviously not a CJ-verse tale despite a possible resemblance to people real and/or imagined. I just couldn't resist pulling the High Lord ... er, CJ into my comment.
Having read Twain's story featuring Hank Morgan of Connecticut as a boy I recognized the reference though I admit I'd forgotten it was published in 1889. Nice touch. I wasn't aware that Harry the Potter was dad to the sorcerer's apprentice.
This answers some of my query from the previous chapter. I'm glad to see you took what the others before me said continued wihout waiting for my input.
I liked the concept. It would be interesting to see what you could do with it now. You're growth as an author puts paid to most of those early critiques. Of course a revisit would take you away from your current opus and that just wouldn't do. Still, perhaps one day.
Oh you can trust that MacDughlas thoroughly explained it all even to the point of reminding him that the pleats go in back, otherwise folk will think he had his arse on backwards.
We did thanks. It was around 66/19° and sunny so we sat outside. Mum had a bowl of French country chicken vegetable soup and I has an asparagus crepe and salad. We're both resting now.
He posted the first chapter in late December of 2010 and posted the Epilogue in late July of 2013. Roughly 2.5 years. I started reading when he was about a year in and if remember correctly posted weekly.
I think that would be an excellent addition. You thinking of pulling him via CJ or Brad, either would work or maybe someone unexpected like Patrick. I'll be interested to see if you do.
The author was still posting Circumnavigation when I read it. I was able to binge about half of the book before I caught up and had to wait for each new installment. It was one of the first stories I read after joining GA and well worth it.
The weather is currently what is normal for this time of year, ~60/16° for a high temp, so pleasant. We're to become considerably warmer and more humid in the next couple of days. Warmer is okay, humid can aggravate my migraines.
Hi Terry. Sawasdee Khrup. It's still predawn here so mum is still asleep. I've been up about an hour, I will say that while I am not well I am better, thanks. Don't feel compelled to retreat to a dark quiet space.
