  1. Either might make for an interesting entry for this week's B/W photo. Maybe you could Val to lend you that flamethrower Albert gave her the other day. Uhm, just a suggestion but maybe skip the sexy outfit that came with it.
  2. Uhm, well let's all think good "negative" thoughts and hope for the best. Meanwhile maybe boost your Vitamin D and get some zinc lozenges to aid your immunity, might help avoid contracting either flu or covid.
  3. Mum would say "Jack of all trades, master of none".
  4. Uhm, it's not quite like having two cats though at times it does seem like herding cats.
  5. I wish I could offer more than this virtual .
  6. And just who is looking after your herd Missy?
  7. I see to any "walkies" her herd requires on my visits. She tends to neglect that part of ownership. Oh, don't tell her though 'cause it just gives her a "cranky" face and now that she's getting older the wrinkles might not fade.
  8. Was he their reward for playing well?
  9. Hey, if it's not gonna steal you away from us we'll wait patiently until you're ready to tell. Meanwhile back at the ranch ...
  10. He has eyes like my mum ... and NO, just no!
  11. Geez, he broke the light fixture.
  12. I shall be a young and virile 90.
  13. Uhm, ... gee, uhhh ... well ... bet you're feeling relieved.
  14. When I first saw that I immediately thought of you.

    Chapter 32

    I am without words ...
  16. You survived the day, I call that an achievement.
  17. That one is on my list to make soon.
  18. We had soup. It's becoming a trend. Last night we had beef barley soup. We have an abundance of ground/minced beef in the freezer we'd bought in bulk at Costco and portioned into .5lb packages. I used one of those, unsalted beef broth, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, roasted red pepper and a carrot plus pearled barley of course. It was wonderful. Tonight I made soup using fresh cheese tortellini, chicken broth, chopped canned tomatoes, onion, roasted red pepper and fresh spinach. Again very good. Mum is fond of soup and there has been a damp chill to the air the last couple of days so soup is both warming to old bones and fills the tummy.
