  1. Okay, so maybe he's not quite your height but then he hasn't hit puberty yet either.
  2. A belated good mornin' Texy.
  3. Why did I just imagine a bumblebee dressed in leather?
  4. You're the good looking one on his knees.
  5. Hi. We've one more type to bake tomorrow. I call them "junk" cookies but their actually called Jubilee Jumbles. It's the batch that would put the last odds and ends in. Last year we used dried cranberries, orange and pecans. This year we have leftover shredded coconut, orange zest, pineapple and pecans. The basic recipe is a soft buttermilk sugar cookie.
  6. We passed my birth year yesterday before I could make mention of it.
  7. Maybe because they're the same height?

    Chapter 3

I've had my coffee, I'm ready for the "talk.

    Chapter 28

Jimmy may not have laid it out for him but Sawyer seems to have a firm grasp of the danger coming with the full moon. Now if only he can lance that "boil". It seems Jimmy was presented as a "delta" but would have become a "beta" in time. I suspect he had/has the potential with additional time to become an "alpha" but you don't tell an adolescent that one day he will be "King of the Hill" or you get something like Fergus.
  10. But, but, why?
  11. So does Marty, the cleanly shaved face.
  12. Hi bro. Thistle likes snow too. As long as I've put on his fleece pullover.
  13. G'day y'all. Another bright and chilly day is dawning. It's just a bit above freezing just like yesterday. Seems we're on a slight roller coaster. Temps drop below "normal" for a day or two, then warm to said normal for a day or two before rising above normal for a couple days before repeating the cycle. Mum and I are almost finished baking cookies. We should be done tomorrow or Friday. This morning I'll take advantage of the weather to make the last couple batches of peanut brittle. My son and dil had been thinking of coming to visit between Christmas and New Years but last night we talked with Jon and asked them to stay in PA. We would really like to see them. I saw them in Oct but mum hasn't seen them in over a year. With COVID we just don't think it's safe for any of us for them to travel here.
  14. Thistle doesn't like the taste of math homework ...
  15. I'm sure I took the red pill ... I don't think it was the blue pill 'cause I haven't got that problem in my fantasies or otherwise.
  16. In primary school we used to cut strips from red and green art paper to make chains to decorate out classroom for christmas.
  17. I won by a landslide ...

    Chapter 3

Okay ... so talk already, tell us why you made all those mistakes but, first some coffee ... Adi? Really? We have to wait until Tristan fetches them coffee. It's gonna take him until next week to get back. Meanwhile Peter is waiting in Tristan's hotel room. What could possibly go wrong with that scenario?
  19. No plaid, visible or otherwise. I am wonderin' if the tattoo on his arm is meant to represent a bird that's flown into a window what with the blood splatter. Oh, wait. I hadn't noticed the plaid socks as I was distracted by the tat.
  20. Mum talks about the rationing and how neighbors might trade one type of coupon for another, i.e., sugar for flour or butter. She also remembers the little packet of yellow dye that came with margarine so you could color the white margarine yellow to look like butter. I was not even "a gleam in my father's eye" in 1953.
  21. Ha! Joke's on you. I hated doin' math homework when I was in school so I'm surely not doin' it now.
  22. I just don't want another glitter nuke. I'm still itchy from the last one.
  23. Remember Albert the Fae use glamour to change their appearance to appear more "human".
  24. Hey! Is that Leprechaun wearin' any pants?
  25. I never get that far as I'm gobsmacked by your handsome pic.
