I think Ralph was more at fault. Rather than act on what he learned as "Tony" to fix what was wrong between them he offered Stanley hope of something better. He knew Stanley wasn't happy and used that knowledge to goad him into actions that would ultimately humiliate him before dragging him back into a mentally abusive situation. I hold little hope for them.

Uhm ... I thought some of your subjects were taking your recent proclamation of election less kindly than hoped ... you know boiling tar and shaking the feathers out of their pillows. If you're going to be King of Canada you'll need to learn how to balance while standing on a chair, it's a requirement for coronation.

Dinner tonight was a seafood pasta bake. Fresh shrimp and scallops in alfredo sauce blended with ricotta and whole wheat rotini topped with shredded aged Italian cheeses then baked until bubbly. Mum really enjoyed it and there are leftovers for another night later in the week. Today was another cookie baking day. Made a butter cookie and both peanut butter and almond butter blossoms.
