I'm a bit odd I guess. I like winter. I don't mind the cold because I enjoy cuddling into warm clothes and under the blankets. What I don't like much is long dreary overcast periods. Give me bright clear crisp days or snowy ones. Of course I've spent the last four winters in SC and that's a different experience than what I grew up with.
The northern part of the state had a freeze that ended the growing season. My dad said he thinks there was frost in areas here too though not enough to end the growing season. It's been dry here the last week and rain isn't expected before the weekend and then likely only showers.
Ohh that sounds nice ... I've some Scottish Breakfast tea I bought last week maybe a cup to warm up. It's been chilly here and I refuse to turn the heat on.
It's time for Boone to be the one that provides direction instead of his tagging along behind Coy. I understand why he did it earlier but it's time for him to lead and let Coy follow if he will.
Good chapter but maybe next time a clean chamber pot ...
Good. The most recent front pushed the smoke away from here too. While it's far too high for it to be an air quality issue it was heavy enough to equal a 25% overcast.
No. Someone did physical labor yesterday and the body isn't as young as it once was. Why in my youth I could spend the entire day riding my mastodon and never be sore but not any longer.
Chilly here too. It was 40/4° when we left for our morning walk. The sky was a deep indigo full of bright sparkling stars. Then the sun rose bringing a clear quiet dawn.
You mean back when there was a cute young guy, who wasn't masked like a bank robber, across the table and the remnants of a large glass of red between you ... or do you mean t-shirt weather?
