  1. I'm sorry for your Dad, he's lost two people very important to him in a short time but if it was for the best I am happy for your grandpa. to you Clo.
  2. There's no one quite like you Texy not only when naughtiness is the topic, when you're missing things just don't add up.
  3. So is poison ivy ... which I am currently coping with. I don't normally suffer from it but I got a small scratch on my right forearm while working in the yard and it seems the leaves made contact with the broken skin. Fortunately it's a very small area and past the most annoying stage.
  4. G'day y'all. It's a bit soft this morning but that is to end this morning. My head is still achy so the pup and I are being lazy and snuggling in bed. Do have a couple of errands to run later. One is to the faire to deliver a feather cockade I made to decorate the new hat of one of the joust squires. The other is to the pharmacy to pick up my Ajovy prescription. I'll give myself the injections later today. Rolling Stone did an interview with Orville Peck y'all might find interesting. Blessed be.
  5. Oh, so they're friends of yours ... wait a minute ... are you trying to be subtle and tell us Gary has moved downunder to be your bestest friend and snuggle bunny?
  6. Hi Page. Thank you.
  7. Oh, that is so cool. The sepia tones add a tremendous amount of depth and highlight the texture if the leaves. Hope you begin to feel better soon.
  8. Your kind thoughts are appreciated but saddly no. My head is being achy. It could be worse but it's enough that all I want to do is rest quietly in bed.
  9. Why would you want a two-legged beard?
  10. Think Val and Page would notice the mushrooms if we turned them into adorable critters?
  11. Oh yes please. I'll gladly be the salami in their sandwich.
  12. Careful Marty. You do know that fairy dust is almost as bad as fairy herpes, aka glitter. It gets everywhere and itches.
  13. Gary and Albert did ... oh wait, no those were mastodons.
  14. Is it awful of me me to say I'll skip the pie but take the pie plate?
  15. Except apparently peas ...

    Chapter 16

I think our conjecture equates to fanfic.
  17. How 'bout some peas with your bacon?
  18. Happy dreams B.
  19. Dame Diana Rigg has died at age 82 ... RIP Mrs Peel.
  20. Greetings Albert. I hope the smoke doesn't become too much an issue for you.
  21. And they evolve so perhaps there's hope ... that one day @Valkyrieand @Page Scrawler will enjoy mushrooms.
  22. I was there many years ago when my wife's younger brother was married. We got home a week before the earthquake that struck during the World Series. I liked the city very much and would like to visit again. The "Summer of Love". I think I read about that in my history book. Seriously, I was a preteen and remember how scandalous it seemed when I heard adults talk about it.
  23. So about those inexpensive reading glasses ...
  24. My first experience with Brussel sprouts was in my late 20's. My wife found a recipe for maple glazed roasted ones and thought we should try them. She and I managed to gag down a couple each before giving up. Our son spit out his first. It was another 20+ years before I tried them again and now roasted or braised sprouts are among my favorite veggies. I've yet to find any preparation for kale, and I've tried a few, that I find palatable. Mum feels the same.
