Cry lamentations ...

I know Marty's weather sounds pleasant. Here it has reached 80/26+°. Fortunately the humidity is easing.

The local produce stand had lovely fresh blueberries so I bought a quart and made blueberry buckle. Yummy. This morning I made up the mixture to make Maryland-style crabcakes for our midday meal. I'll serve them along side fresh corn on the cob. The weather here this morning remains sunny and warm 76/25° with tropical humidity. The forecast is for the humidity to lessen as the day continues. Average high temp for this time of year is 85/29°. We'll be a few degrees cooler. Last evening I had a ferocious migraine. Fortunately it eased enough during the night that I am mostly functional though the longer I'm up and active the worse it is becoming. Mum is watching the online worship service broadcast from a Baptist church in Columbia. She doesn't much care for the conservative nature of the sermons but takes great delight in the music. I think because they perform the older hymns she learned growing up. Thistle is currently sprawled on the bed napping. Me, well I'm kicked back in the recliner in the corner relaxing hoping the head might ease. Blessed be my brothers and sisters.

Very pretty but a bit young for me. Does he have an older brother? Actually this lad reminds me of the nineteen yearold lad I've mentioned in the past. Though Chad had black wavy hair and very dark brown eyes and had almost no facial hair. Wow, just occured to me he would be about 38 now. Last I heard he was married and the brewmaster for a local microbrewery.

If it wasn't so warm he'd still be wearing the plaid flannel I gave him for his birthday. And no Marty he'll not be shaving the scruff.

I watched this video the other day. The lad took it all in stride and is ready to go back into the woods.

Forgot to mention that during our walk yesterday morning I saw my first live alligator outside an enclosure. It was laying along the driveway of one of the houses we pass. I guess it was about six foot long, easily large enough to make short shrift of the pup. Raised its head to look at us as we approached. Fortunately Thistle did not notice it so didn't raise a fuss. We passed within ~20 feet but there was a large shrub between us. After we were passed it got up and slowly wandered in the direction of the pond. Not the same pond Thistle was swimming in two weeks ago. This was in a neighboring development.

It's 77/25° with 94% humidity and mostly overcast. Not forecast to get much warmer but t-storms are likely. We're stuck in this tropical airmass until late Sat when a cold front is due to push through. Slightly cooler temps and decidely less humid air to follow.

Albert, maybe you want to go back and change the angry face response. When I saw it I couldn't understand why you'd made it since Marty had already corrected his error.
