I like the way you phrased this. During the initial beta reading of this story I mentioned to Carlos that the Squad is a group of remarkably blessed and privileged young men. The thing I like is they have taken firm grasp of the concept that to those with great privilege comes great responsiblity. They embrace service to others as a noble calling. I'm proud of the man Brad is becoming.
It's warm and wet here and not in a fun way. It's currently 68/20° and raining heavily. The rain is the result of a frontal passage that should clear later today. Meanwhile the pressure change is wreaking havoc with my head and Mum's knees.
Capon are emasculated roosters and are usually slaughtered at a young age so are more tender than Albert ... er, uhm, I mean Albert's neighbors roosters. Those roosters however are also edible they just would either need soaking in buttermilk to tenderize them or braising in wine, coq au vin, rather than roasting.
We having a saying at faire ... "I like children. Yes I do. Boiled or baked or in a stew." I tell folks I prefer the "little lambs" roasted in the Greek style with lemon and rosemary rather than with mint jelly or a well basted kid roasted on a spit.
Here in SC hardware stores, garden centers and nurserys remain open under the Governor's order. Back home in PA hardware stores were allowed to remain open but garden centers and nurserys were ordered closed. Once the spring planting season arrived exceptions were granted for nurserys and such so folks could buy the necessary seed and plants for their gardens. Agriculture is big business there and home gardens are common.
Well hello ...
First, I'm not sure Chase should be in any hurry to let go of his frustration and anger with Hank. He needs to process it yes but Hank treated him shabbily, just as he has his mother. Hank's due some annoyance on Chase's part. I wonder if losing Chase had anything to do with Hank's being willing to meet with Lilah. A change in perspective perhaps.
I wonder if drunken Chase really had any chance at escaping the creep at the bar. It seems he was coerced rather forcefully to "cooperate". A case of being pawed and mauled.
Did Hank see Chase's exchange with guy this time? If so what does he think he saw?
