Eating one of those burgers would certainly give me nightmare inducing indigestion. Speaking of burgers, today is National Hamburger Day here in the US.
I took mum out on a few errands. We renewed her SC State Parks Pass. We use it for beach access at Huntington State Park. Dropped by the local place we use for shipping packages. Needed to send my youngest step-neice's graduation card and gift. Then I took her to visit the local Barnes & Nobles bookstore to buy a new book. Got there just before they opened so there were very few folks in the store. From there we headed home again with a quick stop at Starbuck's for iced coffees. Now we're home and relaxing.
G'day y'all. It's overcast and warm, 75/24° with 100% humidity. The storm yesterday left us stuck in a tropical airmass until the weekend. Don't plan on doing much as my head is still being problematic.
Bertha seems to have passed us by and is now in central NC. River flooding is expected in counties to the north and west but should not cause us problems. It is warm 77/25° with 93% humidity and very breezy.
Greetings ... we are enjoying ... er, uhm ... enduring the effects of TS Bertha. The second named storm of the 2020 Hurricance Season and the season doesn't begin officially until Monday, June 1st. Mum is not best pleased.
