  1. He's pretty much already isolated ... well except for the sexy young plumber who he paid an exorbitant amount to come for a visit ... oh, and he got his ejector fixed.
  2. Well the joke was funny.
  3. What about a Cottage Pie?
  4. Where did you get a Sears catalog?
  5. Save a horse ...
  6. I have it growing on a trellis in my garden in PA. Here it is mostly growing wild in the trees along the roads. I remember one spring a few years ago driving along I95 in NC and seeing masses of it growing wild in the trees. I didn't realize what is was at first. Some of it was 40-60 feet up in the trees.
  7. We are, other than a building migraine I'm dealing with. Mum is watching the mid-day coronavirus briefing but I became frustrated with the blather and bluster and retreated to my room to rest. I took Mum's car to fill up the gas tank. Wanted to be certain we had a fully fueled back up vehicle. Other than that we're limiting our exposure. Are you and Steve well?
  8. Took our usual walk with the pup this morning. The azalea are in full bloom, a number of trees are in flower and the wisteria has begun to bloom. Nature continues it's course regardless of our troubles. Has the Earth just given us a smack-upside-the-head?
  9. Just what was the problem with your plumbing ...
  10. Better than "Go directly to jail".
  11. Oh, so you paid for his company ... and didn't even get to handle ... er, I mean hand him his tools. Damn social distancing.
  12. Oh, yippee, so what kind of cookies are you baking 🍪 ...
  13. Greetings Albert.
  14. And how do you get this little piece of paper that says you are allowed to be out walking your dog or whatever it is you need to be doing?
  15. Glad he's pleasant company and nice eye candy, eye candy is the one sweet I do not give up for Lent.
  16. So I took mum out for breakfast this morning, likely the last time for a while. The restaurant was pretty empty so social distancing was easy. We then went to the bank and to keep her appointment to have her hair cut. The shop is small, just one stylist and only one other customer who arrived just as mum was finished. From there we went to Home Depot to get the supplies for some outdoor projects. Mum pushed the cart after sanitizing the handle and her own hands. She wasn't allowed to touch anything else. Again there weren't many folks and people kept their distance. After that we went thorough the drive thru at Starbucks. Our last stop was Publix to stock up on a few things. Again she wasn't allowed to touch anything but the three apples she selected. It was busier but kind of necessary that we shop to avoid needing to do it later when the risk of exposure might be greater. It's not likely that she'll go anywhere outside the complex for the next few weeks. Exception being to walk on the beach or at a nearby botanical garden where her contact with others will be minimal. I'll be the one to run errands and will try to limit those. I don't plan on going anywhere before Friday when I take Thistle to day camp and a bath. We heard this morning that there was a fourth confirmed case in this area. The most recent had gone to the ER of our closet hospital so now both local hospitals have had exposure. Since we are both in the population for potentially severe illness we're taking extra precautions. Mum is currently sanitizing the kitchen countertops and her bathroom. There is hand sanitizer in my car and as soon as I get back in it, before even starting it I clean my hands. We will practice self isolation for the most part and social distancing when necessary. Mum says she remembers the polio scare having worked in polio ward as a nursing student. She will take care.
  17. You mean you're blocking the door so he can't leave ... self isolation is more fun if you're not by yourself.
  18. I knew I should have had the waffles for breakfast. Hi Curti.
  19. Makes choosing between brands a bit easier ... you just take what you can get.

    Today

Imagine if you will the desperation if we didn't have this connection to one another ... then, remember this small part of the world does very much care little brother. Namasté
  21. I wondered when I saw the forecast for the west coast.
  22. Fortunately I can trim my beard but my hair will be a bit shaggy.
