  1. Eventually Lucca's whole past will come out, but it's nice to know you're enjoying the story now
  2. I know I shouldn't play favorites with my own characters, but I think Jeremy's probably it right now. He's a good guy... in my mind hehe.
  3. Thanks Yeah Lucca is going through some pretty tough things in the first chapter poor guy.
  4. hehe that's good right? I'm working on Chapter 5 now so no worries!
  5. I felt so anxious for Jason the whole time I was reading their dinner conversation. Their whole conversation had a really authentic feeling I got into it I'm glad they're gonna give the relationship a shot and I can't wait to read more
  6. Poor Jason not being able to tell anyone because he was so afraid of the outcome. I think the missed connections thing was great. I read those sometimes just for fun because they're usually sweet, but I have a couple of friends that met that way.
  7. My first thought was: That's awesome lol. I can't believe you were that into it, but I'm sorry you missed your stop! Please keep reading, I'll try to keep it interesting

    Picture Perfect

Aw it's a shame to see Logan becoming more materialistic and scheming, but I guess he's just doing what he can to survive. Hopefully he can maintain his down to earth attitude too.
  9. My favorite super heroes were Wolverine and Batman growing up, and my favorite villans had to be Poison Ivy and The Joker from Batman.
  10. ‘Why am I always my own worst enemy?’ Sam slammed his hand down on his alarm clock; if the blinking green numbers were any indication, it was now 6:15 a.m. He had originally set the alarm planning to get an early start on shopping and exploring the town before work, but he hadn’t expected to stay awake so late. ‘Since I’m already awake, I might as well go eat breakfast.’ He stumbled out of bed to head for the kitchen. The cold wood floor surprised him though and he jumped back into be
  11. Ugh I have a host of embarrassing stories. Well here goes (i'll save the best.. or worst for last): Once in high school was practicing for track outside of my house and I was all finished up so I went to run inside and I ran into my cement stairs. The worst part was I had to tell my whole family cause I was cut up pretty bad. Umm there was a time in math class my friend had given me a printed out story to read and I got really into it but I didn't notice my teacher had called on me so by the time I looked up my whole class was looking at me laughing. One time I was introducing my friend to a guy who helps to donate money for the charity I volunteer at and I couldn't remember the person's name so I just sort of.. stopped talking lol. I just was like this guy is... and had him say his own name. It was awful. This has to be the worst one and it's not super appropriate so i'll try to be vague. I was in a sort of casual relationship with one of my friends in high school and we had been doing sexual things for a few months when he wanted to try doing something in his living room. We were in the midst of something when we heard a car close it's door outside close. So we figured we'd go to his room. On the way there I tripped. Broke two toes, and had to get five stitches in my head because I fell into a like corner. Anyway his dad walked in with me half naked blood gushing down my face and I think it was pretty obvious what had happened. I still feel awkward when I go over that house
  12. I agree...sometimes. At times it seems silly for stories to resolve so simply, for characters to fall in love so fast. Once and awhile I want a story with lots of obstacles and difficult situations where the characters don't necessarily end up together. But, I must say that equally as often I'm in the mood for simple love stories. Maybe it's idealistic, but sometimes i wish life was actually like that.

    Iron Man

Great start, I can only imagine all the drama that's coming up
  14. I think slutty is more of an attitude thing. Sleeping around with tons of people will never be viewed well by many, but I think if you act blase about it people get the perception that you're a slut. Taking relationships seriously, sexual or not is important. When people don't take their relationships seriously and sleep around a lot I think that equals slutty to most people, plus once you have a title like that it's hard to get rid of.
  15. Physical: 1. Brown hair, brown eyes 2. Good smile 3. Tall Personality 1. Honest 2. Caring 3. Funny 4. Good natured towards others Lifestyle 1. Someone who takes life and relationships seriously (in a good way.)
  16. Thank you I will. I love the whole Stargate series, I've been watching it since I was young. I'll let you know when I get around to checking out Grey's Anatomy and Brothers and Sisters.

    Chapter 1

For such a short story, you leave quite an impression. It's nice to read a story where the characters are rewarded for their positive deeds. So often people focus on the negative that happens and not the positive. The theme of karma is great. Thanks for sharing
  18. Tough. I know if my best friend was opposed to who I was seeing it would be difficult. It seems to me by your post that you guys never fully dealt with you being gay in the first place. Maybe it's time you have a real conversation about that in a non drunken state. I think if he's willing to listen to what you have to say and try to work through it with you then stay friends. Friends who are so close that they're almost family are extremely hard to come by, and it's worth trying to deal with it the difference of opinion if that's possible. If he's obviously not willing to try then you should move on.
  19. If you live in the present then you don't have to worry about either? lol I guess I would be a let things just happen kind of person. I'm not sure I ever have expectations for things, I'm just happy when something good happens. If something bad happens I just try to deal with it quickly and move on.
  20. I can't believe anyone would do this to their kids. This practice should be illegal to perform on children, they can't even give consent
  21. I'm definitely going to have to, but now my expectations are really high
  22. I like to write with music. Other than that, i give myself a deadline and just try to meet it. But, it's supposed to be fun, so I don't force myself too much.
  23. It's great to see Charlie finally taking control of his life. I can't wait to hear some more about Scott, he's still a bit mysterious. I feel like he probably has a couple things left to reveal I don't think i've told you this, but I love the pace of your story, it's so real. I feel like so many stories rush into things, but it's nice to see a story where the timeline is plausible. Keep up the good work!
  24. I had an english class once where the first two minutes of class we jogged in place and then again halfway thru the class. Maybe you could just do that every so often? It certainly wakes you up.
  25. This is supposed to be set modern day, but I figured since Lucca doesn't have many friends and comes from a modest upbringing he wouldn't really need a phone. I'm planning to switch back and forth more in the future, but I think some of that will depend on what part of the story needs to be told next. I'm working on making the chapters longer, but once I get to that five page mark my brain starts going nuts lol. Maybe I'll write in a smaller font or something. Thanks for the comment
