    Prophecy

XV. Prophecy Training with Naani was exhausting. Understanding what Naani was telling him was one thing. Putting it into practice was another case entirely. Editing or censoring the amount of information coming off his brain required a level of concentration that was totally foreign to Brandon. It seemed to come much easier to Jordan. Naani explained that it was because Jordan was a natural introvert—not his exact words, but as close as the language barrier could get—and that made it

  3. Thank you. This was a hard chapter to write.

    When the Wall Fell

This was wonderful! Thank you for sharing!
  5. He's thinking alright
  6. Keith is a creep, definitely. The relationship between the two of them starts to make more sense later on.
  7. It is a little bit. It's a dark path Brandon is looking at.
  8. Disturbing, frightening, creepy...sounds like a winner to me! But seriously, I am glad to hear the word disturbing, because that is often what I aim for. It's a complicated series, no doubt about it, but well worth it (at least I think so).
  9. I take creepy as a compliment. Thank you!
  10. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for commenting!

    Tertiary

XIV. Tertiary Brandon’s mind was full of memories; memories of his life, moments caught with family, friends, himself. The screaming panic on the first day of kindergarten, watching his mom leave the room. Dangling upside down from the monkey bars, the sun in his face, blinding him. Curiosity mixed with distaste as his dad lifted him up to see the tiny, smelly bundle in his mom’s arms that was his new baby sister. Nervous knots in his stomach on the first day of high school. His first

I'm glad you like it and thanks for the review! Only 7 chapters, I'm afraid, no more.

    Retribution

Glad to see Samuel's revenge met with your approval Thanks for the review!
  15. Thanks for leaving a review. I am glad you are liking everything so far. There is definitely something starting between the two of them, but it'll be a while before the trust comes, I think. I haven't studied NLP (neuro-linguistic programming?) just dredged up everything from my psych classes that I could remember.
  16. Thanks for letting me know what you think! I'm glad you are liking it
  17. This story had a very ominous start! It raises a lot of questions, especially about this interesting place and what those elder guys were up to (Betcha it wasn't anything good)!

    Retribution

Retribution Samuel was a patient person. So he stayed his present course until he was ready to make his move. He continued to date Emily, doted on her, mostly to ease his own conscience and because he knew it bothered Anthony. Samuel avoided Anthony and when that wasn't possible, tried to ignore him. Samuel was with Emily at the mall one day after school when he looked up to see Anthony. He was standing there, outside of Borders, staring at them. Samuel automatically tensed, his spine

    Naani

XIII. Naani Several nights later, Brandon was lying in bed at another inn and staring at the dark ceiling above them. Jordan was lying next to him, sleeping the deep, quiet sleep of a person who had just been thoroughly fucked. Brandon had been sleeping with him when another nightmare had jolted him awake. This time at least he was able to avoid waking his lover. He sighed and crossed his arms over his face. It was a familiar nightmare, with an agonizing twist… it had been Jordan

    Punishment

Punishment Anthony's heart beat loud, keeping rhythm with the ball he was dribbling in his hand. The squeak of shoes on the gymnasium floor and the noise from the crowd were his backbeat. He passed the ball to Matthew, who threw the ball and gave the team a three point shot right as the whistle blew and won them the game. Anthony grinned as Matthew shouted and jumped up into the air. He joined the rest of his team in a jumping, shouting type of group hug, hearing the applause and cheers fro

    Unrequited

Unrequited Emily sighed and pulled down on her skirt. Normally she liked her skirts short but she was going out with Samuel tonight and she didn't want him to get jealous of her showing off a lot of leg to other guys. Though sometimes she wouldn't mind if he at least got a little jealous. Jealousy excited her, made her feel special, but Samuel never seemed to get that way. Emily frowned and then pulled her skirt back up a little bit. Maybe a little jealousy every once in a while wouldn
