Ah Yes! Let's all hope things continue to go well for our friends!... Um, Dillon? You really need to find a GOOD friend! All work and no play...

I vaguely remember that story but not in detail. Of course, the simple answer is that a being from Earth (1G) is essentially 6 times stronger than a Lunar being (.1266G). Rather than bouncing around, I suspect that the Earthling would end up breaking the bones of a being adapted to a lesser gravity... After straining the musculature. There have been many Sci-Fi stories where humans adapted to high-gravity worlds (which have denser muscles and bones) will physically beat those adapted to low(er) gravity worlds. Regardless, may I volunteer as a test subject?

Other than being raped, there appear to be no broken bones. It's happened to Jake before. In a way, he is lucky if there isn't any permanent damage. I don't suspect the idiots used any lube, judging by the blood. Granted Jake is quick on his feet with his answers to old Bailey's interrogation, but so is Danny. It sort of surprises me that Nate doesn't figure out what's going on. I thought his wits were quicker than this. I've never understood how homophobes think that that fucking a queer guy isn't in and of itself a gay act! It has always boggled my mind by the disconnect in thinking. Yet it happens, all too often.

Think about it. Thrusting action... For every action, there is an opposite and equal reaction. In null-G, penetrative intercourse would be almost impossible without restraints. Even assuming one person is holding the other (with legs and/or arms), the resulting forces (thrusting) would be translated into various vector changes - wildly tumbling. Padded room(s)? Yes, even BJ's could present a challenge.

Hmm... This is tantalizingly weird enough that I'm enjoying it! 🤣

Prologue - Do Apprentice Plumbers Only Install Toilets?
Al Norris commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Prologue - Do Apprentice Plumbers Only Install Toilets?
It is an interesting start. -
Ooooh! Daddy had a breakdown! Actually, I thought it was way past time for the stoicism to go bye-bye. I knew a couple of guys like that and it didn't end well for them. They ended up dying as bitter old men who had alienated all of their children because they refused to show them love. It wasn't manly, doncha know! It seems like Todd and Barrett have made up. I'll admit if it had been me, Barrett and I would have had a long talk about his absence. Um, Todd? You need a job to pay for that therapist! Get to working on your art or get a job!

Hmm... How do you spell ORGY?
-
There are a few things we do know. Their car has been parked at the campsite for quite a while. There are at least two guys. From the voices, they sound drunk. They are looking for a FAG... That alone doesn't bode well. One of the guys' names is Thom(mo). At least one of the drunks has tried to get into the Van and another one is looking at (for?) things under Jake's tarp. From these few facts, it's safe to say nothing good will come from this meeting! 😢
-
The unfortunate thing about drunks, especially if they decide to fight, is that they will hardly feel anything you throw at them unless it is incapacitating or deadly.

Everything has been going well for Jake. He's been able to get a grip on his feelings for Danny. Jake wants what many of us have wanted. He only hopes that Danny might want the same things. But now, it looks like Jake is in trouble. How much trouble, we will have to see in the next chapter... (freakin' cliffies)

It looks as if the world is conspiring against both Barrett and Todd... But look on the bright side! Misery loves company!!!

I love the way you tread through the histories. -
Chapter 35: “Think as you like but behave like others”

Perhaps. At the same time, they must also remember that the enemy of peace is peace itself. -
Agreed. For the same reasons.

I suppose we could speculate all day about Barrett. I suspect it won't help us until the next chapter. Mostly I think we've all experienced those times when the whole world seems to be against us. That's what Todd is experiencing, right now.

I so didn't want to read into that heart misplacement. I really didn't!
-
I'm the odd one out. I took it to mean that she shouldn't have encouraged Todd.

Those eyes have to mean something. I'm betting that it has to do with the prophecy. It will be interesting to see if this prophecy differs from the original. I also thought it interesting to see how Greg thought the Baronet Meeting was going to go, compared to how it ended up being a meet & greet!

But that's exactly why Jake had their money in 10's. Much easier to explain if that's all you had on you.
-
If Jake really is a good artist, then he just captured what could be a set of award-winning photographs. His painting should match or surpass the photographs! I suppose that Jake didn't mind that Danny and Nate were chubbed... LOL!!!

OK, here's an off-the-wall question (nothing to do with the chapter). If Bailey came into heat and Dev was in his 'Bear' persona, would his animal senses overwhelm his human senses? I don't think Bailey would come into heat, as the Prof likely had her spayed. But... If all the officer had was his service piece, he'd just piss the bear off. Nine mm doesn't have the power to penetrate bear hide and fat. He'd be mighty lucky to get any kind of a shot that could really hurt a bear. Consider also, that adrenaline and fear do funny things to your aim. The officer did the best thing he could do. Get into his cruiser.

Um, we could say the same about you! However, you like Donna Summers, so you have one redeeming feature...
