It's a well crafted story, even if some of the technical details are a bit out of date. I don't believe it detracts that much from the realism that James tried to establish.

Me thinks the call of the end of the war is a bit premature. Iran may be stabilized, but if I remember correctly, China and N. Korea were rattling their sabres!

This chapter has always been a favorite. Tom shows the initiative that many older teens lack.

I'm also in the camp with the secret "thing." But I also know that Bill usually resolves the issues... Just not when we want them, or even how we want them resolved.

I forgot to mention how Ethan told us all why helping Thad was so hard! That explanation set my mind at ease as to the why and how that I mentioned (Ok, I flat complained about it) before. Thanks, @WolfM

Simply a wonderful chapter. Seth needs the support our guys are trying to give him. Nor do I. People like her seldom consider family as being off-target. If anything, having a gay family member makes them a prime target!

With all the things happening to Ellis, you would think that his fatal attack on Mishtar would have been foreseeable! After all, the Docs had already told us that Ellis had the gland and the sac. It still took me by surprise when the fangs dropped! A lovely ending to the chapter, Cia.

Thinking back to the first story, Bonds Unbroken, There was a clue (or two) about Mishtar. Devious Author!

My wife used to get those. About once or twice a month, until... In 2004 she had a subarachnoid hemorrhage. She survived that and hasn't had a migraine since (full disclosure - I'm Bi leaning towards males and at 72 I see no reason to be anything else). Not only do I agree with the way you've characterized Dav, but I would go so far as to say it also involves Ellis to the same extent.

Yes. It was sorta inevitable. The way you write? I 'aven't a clue, mate. I suppose, storywise. If it had been me? Sorry. All bridges have just been burned. I've got to say, this was a very sloppy investigation. Not to notice handedness? Not to notice defining scars? It was said the audio was there. That wouldn't match either. And how about tracking what Ellis was supposedly doing at the time the so-called video was being taped? Yes, very sloppy to accuse with no real evidence.
