Okay, I'll comment. I'm one of those whose fingers seem to be everywhere. I read, comment, create prompts, work as a beta, just don't ask me to edit, my spelling leaves much to be desired (thank you spell check.) Here you can bounce ideas off of other writers, know practically immediately if people like or don't like something and why. Where else can you get this sort of immediate response. Not only that but here you can make friends, talk about nearly anything, and still be comfortable doing it all in shorts in front of your computer. That is something you don't find anywhere else. Sometimes just taking the time to tell a writer what you enjoy or why can get you beyond that reader/writer relationship. Goodness knows I have made more than a few friends because of it.

When I wrote Accident's Happen large parts of myself slipped into the two main characters. However, at a certain point they had become so defined I no longer had to worry. It was almost as it they simply told the story and all I had to do was write it down.
