  1. Anyone want to walk down to the water with me?
  2. The author is English and modern. Sorry, Frosty, not doing old dead authors and yes they wrote in English first.
  3. Okay I'm sorry if this upsets people but I thought it was funny as hell .http://cartoonbox.slate.com/hottopic/?image=11&topicid=57
  4. Don't jelly fish sting?
  5. Bee - I'm sorry for the loss. Seeing any animal you care for put down is never easy. Breeze - I'm glad you got away and had fun. Who knows, the crazy driving helps to let you know you were alive. Joe - Happy to see you are enjoying the baseball. To everyone, hang in there. When you act alone everything is a struggle, when you share the burden it is never as heavy.

    Chapter 1

Okay, so I came late to the party but then again I don't have to wait as long as everyone else cause you have a number of chapters up already. Already a fan of your work I know what I expect from your talents and this was exactly what you delivered. A great opening that drew me in from the get go. The interplay between father and son shows how close they are, the scars are there and you know the road hasn't been smooth and probably won't be easy for a while. You've warned the reader not to trust the town so seeing it as idyllic already has me wondering what this perfect town hides just beneath its veneer. The moment I get into any town that seems so great I start thinking of "The Lottery" and just know there is trouble coming. I liked how you brought us through the house following the dandelion fluff. That was a novel way of doing it and I enjoyed it. You know that Gibbie's mother was important to him and something he is still dealing with. I can't wait to go on and read what else you have up your sleeve KC.
  7. Am I that ugly I need to be buried in the sand?
  8. I don't eat apples, Sam. APPLE
  9. My first crush I really only wrote about. John was a real sweet heart and I still remember him fondly. What is your favorite meal?
  10. Okay I enjoy this book a lot. The only thing is I am skipping the character's name which is part of the title. On a Thursday afternoon, just after tea, Character's Name saw smoke. He happened to be looking out of his window when a dark cloud lifted above the autumn trees. The wind blew it south and it moved through the sky like a great, floating whale. Good luck.
  11. Definitely something to keep in mind while writing.
  12. 2 1 4 5 Sure why not. I do enough prompts so this should be fairly easy.
  13. Give a bit. I'll go looking for something fun to guess at. (cackles wickedly)
  14. Okay I taught this book. Treasure Island by Robert Stevenson. There is little doubt in my mind I am wrong about this one.
  15. Isn't that just the sound of my blood flowing in my head?
  16. KC you want me to come visit and sit on you for that one? Not funny! As for who I would date? hmmm. I really like this guy who was working with me. Too bad he is straight. Fun to imagine though. You have been given the chance to have one wish fulfilled. However whatever you wish for your worst enemy gets it double. What do you wish for?
  17. Often people enter rear alleys. REARS
  18. Wouldn't you rather see someone dance instead of talking about cereal?
  19. Thank you Joe. Funny, usually my poetry is dark but not so much this time.
  20. Well some relationships are hard to look back on but some are just bittersweet. John was just hard not to like and remember fondly.
