  1. Magic - (I've been waiting to get an easy ending. )
  2. Who cares if she asked twice?
  3. Okay so the truth of his living arrangement isn't known by both parties. Shame, shame. After re-reading the first part I just really have one huge question - WHO is SARAH? I'm assuming it is his daughter's mother but who is she? Where is she? These little flashes are great stories but are also killing me. More please!

    Speaking of Rescues

So we managed to get him out of the Center. At least he is out and they are nearly to free space. Notice I said nearly cause I know how much trouble you like to toss into your stories. I have to agree I hate waiting, patience may be a virtue but when you are nervous you just don't have any. Oh well. Until the next scene and when we have a chance to see how Puck is truly making out.

    Complications

Lugh, So Puck is changing and unless I miss my guess it is all Rix's fault. Then we get to the fun part, he is swathed in bandages, slowly putting on weight, wants to fight his way out, and is scheduled to have his brain operated on as well. The boy gets laid and then gets put through hell. Got to love how you tied all of this together Lugh. I am a medical non entity but I could make sense of what you were writing here. The Center has become quiet the villain. I can't wait to see it taken apart. So naturally not real complaints except how soon can you get us the rest of this?
  6. Unless I read this wrong, Frosty, you have a widowed father who has the chance again at love but won't do it because of his daughter at home. Sounds like a man afraid of taking the chance but knowing he is wrong doing it. Hard to swallow the pain and anguish that seems to be there and yet you know could be solved if he would take a chance. But then again, when is life ever so easy for anyone. I hope you continue this little tale. I enjoyed it greatly.
  7. Look, I could care less about the waistcoat. Where the hell did that rabbit go that was wearing it?

    In The Desert

Awww. The heat of the desert killed the one with blue eyes. So sad. They tried to find a place to be and died for it. Romantic but depressing, John. And here you were just telling me that you were unable to write. Guess you got past your mental block. This was fun and would enjoy more of your flash fiction.

    Medical Transport

Ah, finally we get some interest going on where the hell Puck is. I mean you have hinted all around this but now the rescue is on. I do hope your chapters get longer Lugh. I really want something to sink my teeth into. And we already know what is floating around in his blood, if I understand this right. I guess i will find out for sure soon enough. Needless to say, please post soon.
  10. I'm glad you are enjoying it all. I post faithfully once a week Sojourn. We are a little past the half way point. Glad you like Charlie's life.

    A Family Wedding

This is just one of those exercises I do based off my life and just tell the tale. I have a warped sense of humor so I don't look at things the way everyone else does. I was just trying out another style of writing. Glad you enjoyed it though.
  14. Thanks Sojourn. I write them out but manage to post once a week. Glad you are enjoying Charlie's story. Just glad the added length isn't chasing anyone away.
  15. Actually for Charlie it is still the same day. He is just cleaning up going from morning to night. This will be one of those days, that when it is all over he is just going to pass out cold. Glad you are still with me and enjoying the tale.
  16. Thanks for the kind words and the review Saintsfan. Remember, Charlie is also coming into his own so he isn't so shy. His life is making him grow up and begin to look at all parts of his life. Tina would have been able to get him to marry her if she hadn't forced him to really look at himself. Now Scott is making him do the same. Charlie will get it all eventually. Hope you continue to enjoy the story.
  17. Well they did finally end up going out. See a simple meal and time alone getting to know one another. No fights, problems, or anything else. Time will tell on Wade and Rick Jr. I refuse to spill the beans before it is time. Glad you are still reading and enjoying it Frosty.
  18. Chapter 18 – Lunch and Conversations The restaurant was just opening up for the day as Charlie entered. The place was bright and cheery and the hostess immediately asked where they would like to sit. While Charlie really couldn’t have cared less, Scott asked for a window seat in the corner. “The view really is beautiful at this time of the year. Don’t you think so, Charlie?” Charlie looked and noticed that there were no boats left on the w
  19. What if I wanted to know all about you?
  20. I'm one of those who love to read. I will take short stories and devour them.. I like the fact that they won't consume much time to read and I know I can finish them and not feel guilty. However, I also love longer works so a character can be fully developed. Those I want the time to sit and read and enjoy. Then you have authors like Lugh and Renee who write short stories with their characters but they just keep bringing them back in new stories so you feel like they are old friends who you just don't get to see enough of. As for writing, I'm sort of the same. I have an ongoing story now that I am so enjoying. I know exactly what I want and I am taking the time to develop it; so far all who have read it have only said nice things. Occasionally though I get an idea and just have to put it down. They become my short stories, whether for the Anthologies or just something written so the characters are out of me head which allows me to go back to my ongoing one. I think it is really just a personal choice and you gravitate toward what you enjoy most.

    Where are you?

Now why would you say you don't understand why people would like your poetry Bee? Beautiful thoughts carefully composed. Shouldn't tell me such lies when you write so well.

    Poem

It sounds like you are up for metaphors. Sounds like life to me. Bright, glowing and then gone. Interesting take any way you look at it.
