Okay, delays are fine and they happen. I was afraid this was going to be another one where it was finished and then posted all at once. I can wait, not so patiently, but I can wait.
Friends Here on GA
They are an odd collection of people from all over the world
They are young and old, sweet and sarcastic, funny and strange
They welcome you without knowing you
With gentle words and jokes you begin a daily change
First there was Maria who read my poetry and commented
She offered out her hand and then a second pair of eyes
Then came Mark and Stu who were teasing each other
But when I started in on them it brought more than just sighs

Not sure what you mean as having the same voice. A writer might be distinctive for the way they tell a story or the fact that each time it is so different. Look at the authors you enjoy. What makes them something you like? Some it is the art of surprise, some it is character development, some it is the fun they infuse in their tales, others it is just an overall style. Once you know what you want, or what you are afraid you might be doing, then you can work on it. I find each story I start is different and new. The characters have to come to life and live in the world they inhabit. If I do that I think I am successful. Good luck.
Shagging, Fun time, Afternoon Delight - although that is an old term and a song referring to it, boinking, the animal with two bodies, the intimate ultimate, bury the bone, making whoopie, doing the deed, and sweaty fun are about all i have heard for sex. To me I just say lets have it and go.
Ouch. That is heart breaking. The alcoholic father who has lost it all but hangs onto the one memory he has. You feel for him but worry about Johnny who was left behind, praying the kid is the one who is okay and better off without him. Powerful piece of writing.
Dannsar, Well every writer has the ability to create something rather interesting. This was suppose to be a walk on the wild side, so for Jonas I think I made sure his was wild enough. But yes, I have had a number of the people I truly do admire tell me to expand this tale. I plan to as soon as I finish Accidents Happen. Thanks for taking an interest.
Grrr. You held me in emotional upset. I was there with Wes and Doug from the get go. You show the true love and care that they have for one another. The pain of the accident, the scary moment when you know there is nothing you can do, the aftermath, and of course the slow recovery afterwards. You granted us just enough to allow us in and see without dumbing it down or making it overly simplistic. We know Doug and Wes still have a long road ahead of them till Wes is as good as he will get. Thank you for sharing this Cia.
Alex like so many, chose to hide behind the straight mask for so long that when the time came he didn't know how to handle it. The story was really sweet. I liked how you handled his slow discovery of the world he really lived in. which eventually brought him back to the one person who really mattered. Nice tale all the way around.
