Well, Mann if you look at when these would be featured, it would be Valentine's Day. I do try to keep the prompts occasionally appropriate, but they can always be taken in any direction you like. Oh these type of things come up all the time with my friends. Goes from comic books to book series, television shows to movies. They are fun because they are a shared experience.

Well, some people on here know I enjoy mail. Not junk mail or bills, God knows everyone gets enough of that stuff, but actual mail. You know cards and postcards. Well, to be honest, I am sort of a one man army to keep the post office open and in business. I have friends from all over the world. When I send cards they go from Connecticut to Texas, from England to South Africa, and from Germany to India. Now let me say this, there are post offices that work and some that don't. I mail things to Canada, no issue. I mail things across the USA, okay a bit slow at times but no issues. I can get mail to any part of the United Kingdom, and again no issue. The same is true to Germany and South Africa. However, there is one country where I mail things and I call it a black hole, that is India. I've sent cards, packages, and postcards to Frosty but not a single thing ever made it through. Sort of frustrating. I believe only three items she ever mailed out of it actually got out. However, Asamvav also lives in India. He mailed me a Christmas card. Well, it finally arrived. A little late, but it made my day. So once more - Happy Holidays one and all.

I'm glad you are liking Catherine. People often ask why my female characters are the way they are. They are based off people I know. I've yet to really meet a shy mousey type of woman. The ladies I know usually are well grounded and help to keep those around them the same way.

LOL. Oh come on Terry, wouldn't you like a room full of friends like Catherine? Don't worry, the date will be coming up soon enough. Glad you are enjoying it so far.

She is a strong woman. She can take care of herself, but loves being taken care of too. Don't worry, she will be back.

Catherine is a combo of people I know. Most of the friends I have are strong individuals who can be there when needed, fight for the information they want, can be hurt, and can kick the hell out of anyone who tries to hurt them.

Aww. Well in a story you are god, and your characters either live or die by your hand. I figured if I introduced Frank, letting you know he has already been through the ringer, I might get a little slack while I introduce the new man and issues in his life.

I am glad you liked it Ron. Life has its quiet times and I enjoy catching those moments and highlighting them.

My life in the past two years has been sort of a roller coaster ride. One moment there is a clear road ahead, the next there are so many problems I think dynamite couldn't solve it. Anyway things have slowed down in the issue department, at least momentarily. I presently have one story that I began to post, Last Christmas. I also have managed to do a prompt a week so far this year and am grateful that something is getting out. Tonight I finished a story that I have had off and on since October, called Mrs. Benson. I am hoping to find a team for that, which would allow me to post that story once Last Christmas is done. I am also nearly done with the Spring Anthology story and Bill W and Louis have already agreed to do the beta and edit on it. Then I finally am getting back to Seeon. I have been overhauling the story for the last year. It is one of those tales that went up, I got good press on, then was told it was similar to someone else's work, so I took it down. I don't like comparisons that way so went in and added, and been revising the whole thing. Hopefully when I go to put up the new one it will something people can still enjoy, but will no longer be told it is like someone else's work. Ah, then there is my other stubborn child, Jonas. That little son of gun just refuses to let me finish him, but going to give it another try. Just wanted people to know that while I might have been just getting out Anthologies, it doesn't mean I haven't been trying to write, even if life was getting in the way. Hopefully this year there will be enough new stuff to get those who still follow me excited. Thanks for understanding. Wayne
