My hat is off to you. I love fairy tales and have a tendency to write them often. This was such a fun read. Twists and turns on the what could have been a common tale, set yours apart. Yet you never let the story just rest as you bring back the villain at the end and set the stage to see where you might take this. Nice job all around. -
Me? Scary? Why you say the most flattering things. Just my chance to dip my toe into the dark pool and see what I could get to climb out of it. See what happens when I get riled up. No happy endings or simple lessons, just a psycho out to get her revenge on all men.

I wanted to leave that up to the reader. Did she escape or was she caught? We know she left two victims alive, but we have no idea what sort of shape the last one was in. Just a little something to keep people wondering.

Well Mark, James was bad, I just never told you I could do someone who would make him seem almost moral. This was my chance to walk on the dark side and see what I could do. Seems people found it scary and dark. Seems I did what I set out to do. Thanks for the review.

Thank you Percy. Just made sure this time no one could say it wasn't complete, light, or not attention getting. I wanted someone totally psycho and from the responses I am getting, I think I hit the nail on the head.

Yeah she was meant to be psycho. Tristan was meant to walk away scarred for life - physically and emotionally. Officer Richards was the reader's way in. He was the one to give a voice to the concern and fear about whether Tristan would survive. Sarah Richards was never meant to be the villain, just Officer Richards' support team. Well I do like to stretch my wings Jo Ann. Misery meets Fried Green Tomatoes only a lot darker. I am just glad people are commenting. Good or bad I prefer to know what people think. Thanks for doing that.

I am glad it held your attention. This was one of those stories that once I began it, it seemed to take on a life of its own. However I will admit the story would never have been as good without the efforts of my team. They made my story sparkle. This was only meant to be a one shot though. I really don't intend to pick this up again.

Thank you Carrington. I never like to do the same things but basically I was told in a review that was emailed to me that my writing is good for the light and easy going but I should not try to do anything more substantial, because I would be unable to pull it off. As you can see, this is my reply to that idea. I enjoy my happy endings but they don't always happen in real life.

For a few moments I was afraid this was going to be a new sort of Deliverance. I enjoyed seeing how he lived his life and decided to stay a soldier, but once we met the Good Ol' Boys his training and experience really came in handy. Great read Bill.

Mark, what can I say to this? There is too much truth and it is raw before us all? For those you accept we know what have been through. Remember for every word of doubt given you there people waiting to help and repair the damage. The one thing you mother taught you, whether she wanted to or not, was to be self reliant. You are stronger than you know.

The dreams of one can be the worlds of another. Isn't that what a writer does, create the worlds of his dreams and nightmares for others to visit. Dad looks like he finally has time for his son, but I wonder if his son will ever come back. Nicely done Cia.
