The last few years I've had big projects going on and unable to participate. This year the project is me. I'm facing major surgery soon, with 1-2 weeks in hospital then a month or two to recover. No NaNoWriMo 2013 for me. I was seriously considering do it this year until I got sick and will still try again next year.

Thank you so much guys for being so understanding. I'm meeting with the surgeon this week. Found out since the tumor has continued to grow, it is now compromising an artery. The doctors will decide if surgery is by hand or if I have to go to a specialist who can perform robotic-surgery to repair the artery. ((Which would be so freaking cool if it wasn't happening to me!!)) To say the least, I've been really stressed out. I have written some but it is not quality writing. Thanks for all your well wishes!!! KC

Now Mann is the only Promising Author up there this week. Jeeesh, we PA's need to get our act together!!

It's 3:30pm here, I just sat down on the porch with glass of ice-tea and my laptop. I've been hiding under a rock for last few days and have some catching up to do while my kid is at volleyball practice and hubby not home from work yet. It's quiet except for the crickets out here ((and one of our annoying cats who keeps meowing from the other chair that my hands are busy typing and not petting him!

Hope you have a speedy recovery. Both of my sisters have had their gallbladders removed, now I'm hoping mine doesn't spontaneously combust, LOL Glad that you were insistent and got the care you needed.

Soooo, I guess you’ve notice that It’s Monday and still no new Chapter of ‘Pour Me Another.’ The only think I can tell you is that I’m really sorry. I thought my medical issues were behind me and I’ve been trying so hard to forge ahead with life, but things haven’t been going according to plan. I can’t thank all of the readers, and the people who like this story, and those of you who have taken the time out of your busy schedules to comment on my story, I can’t thank you enough! It’s because of you and because I don’t want to disappoint you guys that I haven’t posted the new chapter. With so much weighing on my mind, I would hate to screw this story up. I have another appointment with the doctor tomorrow and hope to get some answers. I really want to write, but every time I sit down with my laptop, I get a few words out, but then I can’t concentrate. I’m so sorry for the delay!

Wayne was the first person to talk to me on GA. We both joined GA on the same day. I started reading Accident's Happen after it was in progress for a while but I quickly caught up and was salivating wanting more. Oh the wait was going to kill me! I was so worried about Charlie. He's such a wonderful character who could be setting up for a heartache and I was scared with all of the ups and downs between not just Charlie and Scott, but with outside influences of the world around them, I didn't know if they would get together. I love stories that keep me guessing and are not predictable. Wayne did a great job with these guys ((I wouldn't object to an Accidents Happen part 2)) **Hint~Hint**

I don't think books should be banned ever! Someone wrote it. The Authors is expressing themselves and should not be silenced because the majority of the general public doesn't want to read it. It might never fit our social norms but it does fit in a genre ((even if it's undesirable)). My interpretation of 'Freedom of speech' - I might not like what you write or say. I may not agree with your views. I may never pick up that offensive book and read one word of it...but I will fight with my last breath for you to have to right to say/write it.

I hope the new chapters don't disappoint. I'm working really hard on this story. I think it might be the best I've written. I look forward to hearing what you think about future updates. KC
