That’s a day I would rather forget. My husband, Robert was working at the Pentagon. I had just started a brand new job at a new hospital in Northern Virginia that was very very close to Dulles Airport (It wasn’t even open yet) we were setting up the surgery rooms, when we got a page that the building was being evacuated. At first we were only told that a plane was ‘lost’ from the airport then moments later we were told about the New York hijacking…seconds later we heard about the Pentagon being hit. It all happened so fast. Fear and panic can’t describe the feeling. Cell Phones didn’t work. I tried to call him hundreds of times. I also was trying to call my sister who’s also a government worker…NOTHING! I was hysterical, thinking that he was gone, I was going to be left to raise our 2 year-old daughter alone. I rushed to her daycare to get her. When I got there he was on the phone with them. He was upset and shaken but he was okay. He had finally reached a land-line and was with dozens of other people all trying to use the phone to let love ones know that they were okay. It still upsets me to think about it.

Not only was it his mom, but Jake's ass had to come running in too!! What are they going to do? If Otto is another prisoner of war, what can he do to help? I hope Mom cools off and calms down. There are some really bumpy times ahead of A & X...wonder how you're going to get them out of this one!

Just for you Little Blue One, I decided to name all of the chapters since you keep telling me the order was confusing because of putting the Book Cover/Art Work as chapter 1...throwing everything off for the chapter numbers.....I never knew that it would send out notices to all 114 people following the story. I can't thank you guys enough, those who are reading and liking my story, that is the most wonderful feeling on Earth. I hope I make you proud. I've made some changes to the chapter listing/names....Since I posted the Book Cover/Artwork first, the story lists that as Chapter 1 so the actual first Chapter would be listed as Chapter 2.....and so on and so forth. ((I know, I'm stupid)) To avoid the confusion, I've individually named each chapter and will continue to name each new chapter in the future posting.
