Michael is a smart guy. We are getting to know him just as Asher is. Every time I think I've figured these guys out, they go and change the rules on me I think it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Michael had already drank a good bit at dinner when Asher cut him off. He didn't make a scene but his drinking will be revisied. Is Michael oblivious or does Asher just think he is? hmmmmm Asher might be the main character but I really want the readers to connect to Michael too. It's a juggling act to try to round out the story, thanks for reading! Kc

What a really good start. I really want to see where this goes. Do you have a timeframe for your posting schedule? The only thing I was confused about was the Dave/Davis .....I had to go back to the beginning to find out that Davis was actually Nick's last name I figured it out but did throw me with it being so similar. Keep up the good work -

Thanks Ieshwar! I've been really working hard on polishing my writing skills. I didn't know if anyone would notice how I'm doing the descriptions, I've been trying to keep it consistent BTW my brother's apartment is the model for Asher's place. Oh It's nice to re-visit this story. I wrote this a long time ago, but I've always liked these characters. They were so much fun to work with. I left the hybrids open-ended. At the end of the story others are trying to creat hybrids but none of them have survived, only Shade. (Honestly, I hope they don't because that just makes him special ) Thanks for reading, KC

Slowing down the pace is hard because I really want to just blurt out everything that's gonna happen, but tht would defeat the purpose I always worry about getting lost in the details so I hope it's a nice blend of detail vs. leaving things to the imagination. Thanks so much for reading! KC

Hehe, no it's nice to have you guys comment on my pace ((stroke my ego please, LOL)) If anyone has read my earlier writings then you know that I use to write at a crazy fast pace. With help from Rustle, I have learned to slow down, to expland on the details, to dive deeper into characters sooooo I hope this is bringing readers a better quality story Yep, same time, next week....Is that a date?
