This looks like it could be a prequel to Operation Hammerhead. I hope this was just a warm up for a bigger story

The first thing they should do is make it a law they won't get payed themselves as long as the shutdown is holding. Do they have no shame? Sending all those people home without pay while their salaries are being payed. They should be the first to close down, since they don't seem to be doing their jobs. Do they even knwo what they are doing? http://on.aol.com/video/congressman-castigates-park-ranger-for-the-memorial-closure-he-voted-for-517956184 Is he really that stupid or just an attention whore? I know I have no reason to talk, living in the country that holds the record for time needed to form a government after elections. But even in those days, everything kept working, another day at the office. Our congress even voted for a budget and held off the international crisis of a few years ago. I'm sorry for you and your mother for having a run in with the only agency that isn't closed down. I hope it all works out in the end.

Mark you devious ... Getting everything working out so nice for Winkler and then to end with that statement.

Maybe if they retrieve Eastwick & co, they might snap up that french korvet, so they have 2 ships to take all the men home. Might help with the cramped housing they now undoubtedly have, having almost two full crews on 1 ship. Great chapter as always, though it meant the loss of such a fine ship Bacchante was, not to forget Humphreys. His death in combat will save him from the inquisition as to the loss of Bacchante. Had maidstone survived it would have been a dirty battle to save his carreer.

Rest In Peace Napervic: 1968 - 2013, Rest In Peace
pep commented on Trebs's blog entry in Gay Authors News
I met Vic in chat through our combined fanship for Dom's stories. He was and always will be the number one defender of the Domaholics. Through the years our talks deminished, but the few times I logged into the chatroom and he was in, we hit it off like it was an everyday occurence that we talked. We usually had a fight over who was the oldest and who was the earliest member. He will be missed tremendously by everyone who ever got in touch with him. Rest in peace and keep an eye out for the rest of us down here. -
somehow reading Humphreys and "... are you free.." in one sentence planted something in my mind that made me smile. I guess I'm getting old

Is it because te Viceroy isn't native Spanish, he is able te overcome the hostilities and come up with a compromise that is satisfactory for both parties? Their ship gets an escort to their destination and Granger gets a considderable amount of prizemoney, without having to chase the cargo. Though he gets some cash and maybe recognition, I have no doubt his political adverdaries will try to use it against him for not taking the entire cargo. Anyway, all we can do is wait for the next chapters to be posted to see how it all plays out.

I'm troubled about the situation of Jeff. Either the colonel is double crossing and has plans of his own with the clones, or Jeff is in de the hands of the religious fanatics and they want to use him as a scapegoat. Only way to tell which it is is the next chapters,so keep them coming

Instead of one consul he has to battle two, all be it from the same family. Wonder if he is going to be replacing both.

Wasn't it Gary Lineker who said: "Footbal is a game where 22 players chase a ball around for 90 minutes and in the end the Germans win."?

So Viv, now you're trying to lure your colleagues in here too? What authors wont do just to get some extra votes heheheheheh. seriously, Jonathan seems to be a nice guy. Better stop here before I make a complete fool of myself Anyway Peter

I got an even 44 but I don't think that's really correct. At least I don't see myself as being in the center of attention etc. But anyway test taken and people say tests don't lie Have a great day and Peter

Joe's a connaisseur, drinking Belgian beer. I wonder if he drinks the light or the dark beer. Better not have Mike over here, thinking he won't get drunk on beer will get him in trouble here. Two beers is enough, drinking three and you aren't allowed to drive anymore. BTW I'm still confused about the Alex/ Chris - connection. It can't be an alter ego because then Toby wouldn't have seen him in his dreams now could he? Anyway; we'll just have to wait for the next post Hugs, Peter

Heya Viv, Thanks for the birthday wishes hehehehe. I just read your blog entry, so no worries about the birthday. I had tw classes singing that day hehehehehe. Made me . You know how shy I can be hehehehehe. So did the tooth fairy visit already, or was she out of change? If so, tell her to leave the big bucks hehehehe. (downpayment on the next tooth) So did you survive the cold weather? I saw in the news the oranges in California were froozen, so you have colder weather then we have. Normally it should be freezing over here but it's almost spring weather except for the storms. Anyway, keep yourself warm ( or ask Rich heheheheh) Peter
-
Davey sick too? Only proofs that special connection between the two of you hehehehehe. Get well soon Peter
-
Poor baby, I wish I could make you feel better, so let's try something. Now feeling better? Hugs, Petey

Hey Kevin, I would say don't sell your soul to the devil But then again You can't, because: "The devil went down to Georgia" Peter (Should start looking for a good sign off hehehehe)

I wish you the best of luck with the BF. Peter

Sweets, With the way you are recruiting, I wonder if we should start asking royalties . Good luck with the scissors, try to limit the use to paper you provide. Kids tend to cut everything once they know the use of those things. Usually beginning with those papers you need right after. Though maybe they can cut the bills so you can say : " I never saw that paper" But above all, keep them away from the curtains hehehehe. Hugs and kisses Peter
-
I may not be a baby, but when you ask, here it goes: hugs Peter

Aaah Sweets, I think we don't say it enough, but we really appreciate the way you listen to our ramblings and try to help us find solutions. No matter what problem we have, you're always able to get us to look at it from another perspective or come up with ways to deal with it. Yet, i sometimes think we don't listen well, to understand when it is time to reverse the situation so you can tell and we listen and try to help. I do hope you get an answer on the issue of you sticking up for yourself. And I hope everything turns out fine. Like everyone around here, I'm for Ronnie and hope he finds the courage to go through with it. Not like me and back down at the moment of truth. Anyway, lots of 's Peter PS should I hide now?

Aahh Viv, Sorry to hear you mis all the fun parts of this day. But look on the bright side, you don't get to see the mess the guys made today and hope they cleaned everything up before you get home. He is in the army after all, he should know to clean up behind him. If it doesn't work, contact his staff sergeant and ask advice on how to get him in line What saddens me also is you feeling down last week. Somehow now I regret not having had enough time to talk to you that time . But I'm glad you're feeling better and more positive at the moment. Take care and peter
