  1. You have my take on the Prophet as well. This is really getting interesting. Alos, I keep wondering just exactly who all does know that it is Garret...
  2. OK, I'll accept a micro-portion of blame on the delay. I just returned 10 & 11 to the goat.
  3. Just read through everything and what comes to mind is that geeky guy Urkel: Did I do that? Amen brother! Maybe the state is going to get into ethanol production - especially with the governor
  4. Maybe visit the cousins in Morocco: Tree-climbing goats of Morocco
  5. Could this be a hint of more to come?!?
  6. Blame this on Brax! I read his post (https://www.gayauthors.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=20378) and immediately realized it was a great opportunity for a poll!
  7. Sounds like an opportunity for a POLL!
  8. Thanks again - it is just awesome, the out-pouring of support everybody here offered up. AMEN!
  9. Thanks for the words of support, everybody
  10. I can just see it now... The goat stand before the group: My name is CJames, and I am a cliffhanger writer... The group responds: Hi CJames Then one guy pipes up: CJames? ACK! Get'm guys - he's the one that is killing our fav characters!
  11. Given the age, I don't know about juicy Just Kidding CJ...
  12. As I recall ( from a post somewhere around here ), he took down the stories that were based off of other writer's work - like the Harry Potter series. Those that are left are either DK original stories or stories based off writer's work that allow for other writers to use thier work.
  13. In the last few years, he has claimed he never said that in the first place. Here is a discussion at Wired: http://www.wired.com/politics/law/news/1997/01/1484 Until you lose it
  14. uh, I don't think that is a 'power' - as I recall, it was something he unconsciencely developed as a result of his mother's training on how to manipulate people.
  15. I admit that I changed. I originally liked the way Helen was written but Eric's character is much funnier - Tequila?
  16. Because of the previous 'ending', I was surprised when Brian's story showed up in my InBox. At the time, DK told me that Brian just kept insisting that DK tell his story... Of course I don't speak for DK, but I think this ending is the best point to end this series and, as I pointed out to DK, it has been almost exactly four years since the Do Over series began - what a rollercoaster. As many know, I use a multi-pass process in editing. Here's my response to DK when I returned the chapters: This story, these character... it is like laying a dear old friend to rest. Thank you DK! ~e
  17. I can't answer for CJ - he surprised me by releasing this one so soon - but I haven't even had time to look at 39 yet! Sorry kids, dad's been working hard as of late...
  18. I got an email from CJ asking me to "pop into the thread and certify the chapter cliffhanger-free". I responded by reminding him of my reply when I got to the end of 37 - excerpt below: I wasn't going to post but CJ asked me to, so there ya go, CJ - another well-written chapter!
  19. Given the ample evidence presented in his own posted stories, the prosecution rests!
  20. The thing I keep coming back to is these bombs are triggered via cell phone. This means the bombs have to connect with the cell tower near it to receive "the call" and that would be a potential method to trace them. Also, what if J/S forgot to pay the cell bill and the service got turned off... oops!
  21. WOW! I've went 52 days without posting. And nope, that is NOT a record for me I've been everywhere but here lately. I hope this means I'm back but time (and work) will tell... CJ, as I am quite sure you all know by now, has a thing for, amongst other things, that silly, though often useful, punctuation mark known as, of all things, the comma. I have, though it is probably not apparent to you, the reader, on more than one occasion, that would be several, taken that most precious of all editing buttons, the Delete key, on a feeding frenzy, but even that hard working key, though try it's mightiest, cannot consume all the commas there are to eat within a chapter from our noble writer, the goatliest of them all, CJ. Though i can read it ok, it hurts my brain to attempt sentence construction in imitation of his style. You'll note the clever construction of the question. It quite clearly fails to indicate WHO added the cliffie - only that one was added! This is an excellent example of the goat's thinking...
  22. Is it even possible for an Echidna to do that?
  23. Careful BeaStKid, the more emotionally invested in Eric people are, the more likely something will happen to him! CJ is crafty that way
