Wow, A great new chapter, thanks for continuing this story. The whole premise and how you are telling the story through all these side characters is quite unique. -
Chance Encounter - Josh Kimball-Reynolds
Torontotop commented on Altimexis's story chapter in Chance Encounter - Josh Kimball-Reynolds
A great chapter very sweet and poignant. I hope that Josh and Alan and their relationship becomes a large part of this story or a story unto itself. Thanks for writting and I look forward to the next installment. -
Wow a really well written chapter. You hit the balance between the characters as they try to sort each other out, something you do so well both here and in your earlier stories. I suspect that Pete is considering a walk on the wild side with Corbin but is just unsure about the whole thing and if they do get together he doesn't want it to be just another hook up and to ruin their friendship. I look forward to seeing this dance evolve. Thanks for a wonderful chapter!

A very touching chapter to a great story! I look forward to seeing Cam and Kevin's life together continue to unfold and look forward to their wedding.

A very good story but I agree with Nephylim it seems like the beginning of something not the end. I would like to see a book two with them together dealing with the rest of the world. There are a few places were the wording is awkward and I wondered if English was your first language? In any case a proofreader is always helpful. Keep up the good work!

Chapter 20: The Unexpected
Torontotop commented on Toast's story chapter in Chapter 20: The Unexpected
An interesting premise and story that unfortunately misses the mark. The story seems like it is in a rough state and should not be posted on this site yet. The ending alludes to much but is vague perhaps purposely so but I don't like it. What is with chapters that say things like stories/7180/images/willie.eight.jpg stories/7180/images/willie.five.jpg stories/7180/images/willie.six.jpg Are there suppossed to be pictures there? With some editing this could be a really interesting story. -
I have been waiting for this chapter for days checking each time I was online and now that I have read it I can honestly say it was well worth waiting for. I think this is one of the best chapters in this book, amazing writting! The emotions are so raw yet so realistic to how you could see these characters with their personalities react. The only sad note is that it is too short I didn't want it to end and I now I have to start the daily checking again as I wait for chapter 62. Thanks for an amazing chapter in this wonderful series! Now get back to work writting more

Good to see a new story by Jwolf! I really liked this opening chapter. It was interesting to see the reference to Kyle and Cooper, though I am trying to recall if this character ever appeared in their story? I look forward to the next chapter, keep up the great work!

A perfect ending to a lovely story, very well written. I hope you plan to write others.

Wow another great chapter!!! Samjones's comment is well put and I echo his sentiments including that I frantically check for updates when I think a new chapter is due and of course on what a great writer Mark has been and continues to be. Now to weigh in on the Will versus Wade debate - I think there should be no debate rather we should all aplaude that we have two great narrators for this book. When I read a few Will chapters in a row I am so into him that when I see a Wade chapter I think aww; then I start reading the Wade chapter and get a second chapter like this and think oh Wade is great I am so into him. Of course it is all really based on how well Mark writes how he evolves the plot line and what magnificent schemes are unravelling for each character at that time. I am particularly enjoying having three or more chapters in a row from either Will or Wade it seems to allow for a really good flow and lets Mark really spin the story out and get you into that character. As always Mark keep up the great work and I eagerly await the next posting!

A really nice sweet ending after a trouble filled but realistic story, I really enjoyed it, very well written. I will also second the comments above and vote for a sequel, it doesn't have to be dramatic just seeing the guys carry on with life and deal with regular things would be good.

Wow Mark a stellar day, a chapter of both Odyssey and Paternity! What or whom have you been eating to get this energy boost? As always an interesting installment the issue of succession is a difficult one and one many families struggle with but does it really have to be one or the other? Perhaps some power sharing between Claire and Brad is in order? I am surprised that Brad would let the matter of Michael taking pictures of his sons go and even give him severance; I would hope he has made it clear to Michael that if he does anything untoward or that if copies of the pictures appear he will be held responsible and prosecuted for child pornography. It was good to see JP share with Wade though I was surprised that Wade did not do the same with regard to his mother plotting. Next to Wade, JP is the one most likely to be able to envision her plan. As always I eagerly await your next installment.

A very nice well written fantasy story with a great Christmas theme. I guess this story really helps explain the expression have a "gay old time this Chirstmas"

Another great chapter! Poor Will, his family is being very challenging and he is not getting the support he should. While I appreciate the dilemma I am surprised at Brad and Robbie after nearly loosing Will one would think they would be making a better effort to look after and deal with him in a more open and equitable manner. Both of them should also well understand the mother issue and how hard that would be on a 14 year old boy. I am also very surprised that Steph would go along for the same reasons, he seems to want to look out for Will and should have realized how this would make him feel. They all seem to have lost their moral compass.

Brotherly Love - Brad Reynolds

A wonderful written yet really sad chapter. I had tears in my eyes. Keep up the great work! -
An excellent chapter! I love when I open my computer and find a new installment in this series thanks Mark. I like seeing Will behave a bit more mature and playing the field and having fun. It is good to see him take responsibility and handle things well and fool around with guys his own age. That said I like him also having his relationship with Hot Jeff who is almost like a mentor or older brother with benefits yet they are cute and kind of hot together. The mentoring also seems to be paving the way for Will to learn to be as good at sex as Steph and get his game on, a trait I suspect that you want him to have as the story evolves. I am glad you are starting to refer to Hot Jeff as just Jeff as it was getting a bit repetitive especially as I don't recall another Jeff in the present story line, one or two Hot Jeff references per chapter should be the limit. JJ and Michael are both being bitchy, JJ can get away with it but I think Michael doesn't quite appreciate his place. To StoriReder above - I am am glad you said on a serious note after your first two paragraphs. Prior to that I was wondering if you were joking or high on life or something else! Even the French authorities recognize a dead body and besides Mark would never stoop to that.

Wow, what an amazing chapter! Mark you deal with the issue of incest and it's generational repetition in such a sensitive and brilliant manner yet are still able to introduce bits of humour in an appropriate way which helps to make the chapter actually enjoyable; kuddos to you. I love this story.

Great story! Beautifully crafted and written. Jeremy's parents are what all parents should be loving and supportive and there for their child. You definately have to write a sequel, something about their life at college, how Jeremy's genius and their love plays out, some obstacles or idiots they have to deal with, yet their triumphs and love and support for each other and yes then they should have a child or children.

Interesting story, just when things were unfolding it ends? Way too much is left hanging there needs to be a few more chapters to the story!
-
I will chime in with the other two reviews and say, this is a nice sweet story and seems like the start of a more relationship based story forcused on high school rather than murder. I would love to see you continue it!

I don't usually read short stories finding they don't draw me in enough and are too short for me to care about the characters. Of course that was untrue about this chapter and is a great accomplishment for a short story I really enjoyed it and am glad I read it. It would actually make for an interesting series, how guys of that era managed to be together and what they encountered. As a Canadian I am glad of the reference to Canada and that they were coming to this country.

Great chapter !! It really brought tears to my eyes. Robbie can be so annoying but I am glad he got it in the end, than comparison to his rape seemed to bring things home. Communication is key I hope the one lesson Will and the rest of them learn from this is to be honest, to try and see the other persons point of view and to talk it out.

A really well written lovely story. The initial chapters are quite gut wrenching as you read about Shane's life and his abuse. Then you enjoy seeing him taken in by a gay couple and thrill as his life turns around. A great ending chapter I too am a sucker for a good happy ending (and not just after a massage)

Wow! a really great chapter fun to read as always, the ending was perfect and is what elevated this chapter to a perfect 10. The last scene is a poignant moment for Will and Brad, and hopefully heralds a new beginning for their relationship. As a parent finding balance is key and is always an ongoing issue as the lines continue to neet to change as the child becomes a man. Parents often get stuck seeing their child at one age or stage. I do look forwrd to seeing how everyone reacts to Will now and deals with having him back. Now what is Jeff's issue with Matt it seems like he wants Wade for himself? Thanks for posting so quickly and keeping the pace moving, it enhances the story not having too much of a wait between chapters, that way all the details are fresh. Thanks and keep up the great work!
