All kinds of happenings in this chapter. Poor Devyn. I can understand not wanting the pitying looks, but nobody deserves what Brad is making him withstand for drugs, money, or anything else. I'm wondering what Jason's reaction is going ot be when he finds out.

Michael seems to be old beyond his years. He new when to stop and take things another route to calm Devyn. Jason seems concerned and worried as well as doing his job. Hopefully, he'll notice more things as they go along. Good chapter.

Enlightening for Jason to say the least. I do love his protectiveness toward Devyn tho when Michael was talking to him.in what looked like a threatening way. Lyle has a keen sense of humor as well as a keen sense of many other things. Great job on this chapter, btw. You shouldn't have doubted yourself.

I agree with Kitt. Lots of good writers. I would recommend all that's on her list plus Andrew Gordon, Valkyrie, CassieQ, Renee Stevens, and Cia. There's actually too many to try and single them out. I know a few that just have a couple of stories but are great writers. As far as published books, Andrew Gordon's Grand Master is great.

I felt that Devyn was going to feel the need to protect Michael. It's going to hurt both of the boys so much. I'm wondering if Jason is witnessing the scene between the boys. Can't wait for more.

Things are beginning to take shape now. It's obvious Sam is Brad's right hand man and Devyn is being used as means to an end. Probably his own if he doesn't do what is expected of him. Hopefully, Jason will see now that Devyn has feelings just like everyone else does.

So, deep down, Devyn is beginning to give Jason a little thought. The ending of this chapter revealed that. On the other hand, I knew Devyn wouldn't put Michael in danger. I'm just hoping Jason is smart enough to put two and two together and keep it to himself until he and Devyn form some sort of relationship, whatever kind that might be. Michael seems determined , but I hope he doesn't put himself jeopardy.

At least Lyle seems to have a little compassion for Devyn. I just hope Brad doesn't pick up on the Michael thing and put Michael in danger. Sometimes it's best to keep your thoughts to yourself and I hope Jason applies that while working for Brad. Poor Devyn, treated horribly, but still worries for others. Says a lot for who he is.

There's so much to comprehend at this point. Devyn has actually had somewhat of a relationship outside of the house. The cooks and housekeeper voluntarily tell Jason about Devyn being smacked over the simplest of things, and no one has tried to deal with Devyn on a compassionate level. That stinks. Someone needs to beat the hell out of Brad and Sam. Let them be at the other end of the stick.

I'm glad Jason is curious enough to question the staff without going too far. He seems pretty smart. I'm also glad that he's stubborn and is going to wait Devyn out. It's going to take someone with a lot of patience and I think compassion to deal with Devyn. The room situation is curious to say the least. If Brad has Devyn a bodyguard then it seems the bodyguard would reside closest to Devyn. I think Brad has some secrets yet to be known.

Devyn has probably chosen not to speak. I would if I were him. Brad breathes 'bad guy' to me. I may be wrong, but money is certainly the root of all evil and evil seems to lurk around these two. Great chapter.

This was my first time to read this story, but definitely not my last. I was so caught up in your story that I'm sure I missed some tidbits that I will find i when I read it again. Kayden and Damien's story is a jewel that shines very bright in the story realm. You should be proud of such an accomplishment. It is one of the best I've read here on GA and I"ve read lots. Thanks for sharing such a great read.

Even Harrison loves our protective kitten. What an intense and heart wrenching chapter. I didn't know whether to cry for Kayden or Damien. Great writing.

Good grief. You almost made me cry not only in frustration but sadness for Kayden. I didn't think they'd ever look for the poor kit.

Kayden the attack kitty. How regal. EVery King needs an 'attack cat'. LOL. I'm sure Kayden could scare the hell out of someone with his quick, lithe, movements and sharp fangs and claws.

So, Roman is at it again and poor Jester became a victim of his evilness. I'm glad Kayden is talking more. I think it will matter somewhere along the way, him giving voice to his thoughts and feelings to others.

The scene between Kayden and Damien was a much needed addition to the story. It opened up not only their hearts, but their souls to each other. Many times this brings a couple closer than physical intimacy.
