    Chapter 6

Things are finally heating up...but at what price?

    Chapter 5

Really good storytelling. You know it's good when you can't wait to see where things are going, but at the same time you don't want things to get rushed because it wouldn't resemble a real-life scenario. This is one of those stories that grabs you from the very start and leaves you craving more at the end of each chapter. Thanks, Sasha!

    Chapter 4

What a great chapter, Sasha. Always look forward to the next one. Thanks!

    Chapter 2

I hate to see anyone unwillingly outed for any reason, but at the same time, Jeremy is a tough character to be sympathetic towards. And Luke's frustration is understandable. And now the hunky cheerleader drops into the picture. Can't wait till the next chapter to see where things are heading.
  5. A very enjoyable story. I had no idea who the guilty party was. Looking forward to the novel. Thanks, Cole!

    Chapter 1

Great start to a new story, Sasha. Even though I feel Luke's frustration, I also feel Jeremy's fear. I lived in the closet for years. Lots of frustration and lost time. But it was a combination of the times and geography. Can't wait for the next chapter!
  7. This story is a prime example of why GA is the place to find truly talented writers of the gay genre. I thoroughly enjoyed this tale from start to finish. Quality stories like Cowboy Summer is why we're proud to support this site and authors like you, Sasha. Thanks again!
  8. I'd been worried for awhile now about what kind of trouble Rhyder's mom might stir up once she had him back in country. Good to see it all got handled fairly easily. And his dad sounds like a real standup guy. Another home run, Sasha!

    Chapter 9

Another great chapter, Andrew. While in real life it'd be improbable to find such a proliferation of young, openly gay males such as in the story, it's a credit to your writing and ability to create such endearing characters that makes the entire adventure flow so smoothly and believably. And what an unexpected cliffie! Keep those chapters coming!
  10. Just one more reason to love Vince. Hate and bigotry need to be confronted and fought wherever they're found. Ignorance is bad enough, but stupidity is just plain unacceptable.
  11. That is soooo cool. Thanks for sharing!
  12. Among my favorites are the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child and the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz.
  13. DaddyDave was my first "friend" on GA, and a previous birthday greeting was my first correspondence with another member. And you know what they say about "your first time". LOL! Here's to many more, friend!
  14. I suppose that for now we still need a nuclear arsenal, but hopefully someday we can get rid of it. It scares the crap outta me!
  15. I'm probably in the minority here but I'm an Android guy. Whenever I visit an Apple friend we always seem to end up on his iPad for something or other, and I'm, more often than not, just confused. It's probably just because it's so different from the Android OS. If I weren't so set in my ways in my "old age", I could probably adapt, but I just don't want to go through the hassle. But don't get me wrong; Android can be a real pain in the neck. Especially all of the apps they force on you that you can't remove!! Arrogant S.O.B.'s! So good luck to all of you Apple buds. Hope iOS 7 is a good experience for you!
  16. Not sure I have any suggestions at this point but I just wanted to say thanks, A.J., for this topic. I hadn't come across an explanation until now as to how the ranks and reputations were assigned or accomplished. As a diehard Domaholic I particularly liked the "My Name is DomLuka" reputation! Thanks again for the explanation. (BTW, for future reference, where are these listings posted on GA?)

I'm fairly selective in the storylines that interest me. But the western and/or cowboy genre is one of my favorites. I'm really happy to add you to my favorite authors list. This is one of those stories that make you constantly check for new chapters. I can't imagine Rhyder leaving so it'll be interesting to see how you manage to keep him with his new "family". Thanks for the good reading!

    Chapter 8

Another great chapter, Andrew! And another addition to the "family". I don't know how you do it but you make the large number of characters easy to keep track of. Some thought it would be hard to keep up with the growing number of guys but that doesn't seem to be a problem. Keep up the good work!

    Chapter 1

It's so good to have our friends back. Look forward to the rest of the story!

    Are we dating?

HOT, HOT, HOT!! What a great chapter. You can't help but feel for Michael and his conflicted feelings. And that last line! How could anyone not be aching for the next installment?
  21. A goatwriter? Hilarious! It was great to finally see all the loose ends tied up and events brought to a satisfying close. The part about Trev and Shane getting married was icing on the cake; I hadn't really thought about that. But everything from how to use both cats for charters, to visa questions, to how to handle the gold, and everything in between, had a totally believable solution presented. Once again, CJ, hats off to you! The only appropriate way to sign off would be to say, "Thanks for one hell of a ride!!".
  22. I guess I had a different take on things from what some others did. The last chapter was pretty much what I expected. Of course, I didn't have the answer to how the gang would survive. And while it wasn't a forgone certainty that they would come through the hurricane relatively safely, I just couldn't see CJ killing off any of his "children" after bonding with them for almost three years. I took some poetic license stating that I'm checking 20 times a day for the epilogue, but I really am anxious to see how all the loose ends get tied up. I'm a real sucker for the "happily ever after" stuff. I look forward not to whether things will all turn out okay, but as to HOW it will all work out. How will the guys split their time between Florida and Australia; how the insurance company decides to handle a second claim so soon after the first; how they explain and ultimately use the gold; and on, and on, and on. But I also know that CJ has had many obstacles thrown in his path trying to get the story finished, whether it be fires, monsoons, internet problems, or even (ahem!!) garage doors. And while I may not always have the patience of Job, I'm abundant with understanding. Take your time, CJ, and get it just right. I'd still vote for right, over rushed, any day.
  23. Saw the guy on GMA. Interesting. Acceptance is getting better all the time. But don't let your guard down.....yet.
  24. Now that I know the epilogue is "working its way through the team", I'm back to checking like 20 times a day for it. Is that pathetic, or what?
  25. Dom, if you're still out there and keeping up with things, here's letting you know we're still waiting patiently, hoping you decide to resurface someday. Be well and happy!
