Chris did not win any points in this chapter for sure, but he has his reasons too. Some experiences leave us quite damaged, that it's hard to see the big picture, or even accept change without a shove in the right direction. I understand, the first reaction Chris had in this chapter was not easy, but it is what it is. As for destiny, sure, destiny cannot be changed, but if what you're presented with is not your normal, then more than likely, you'll be against it, until you have no choice but to take it. Or so I think, still working on the next chapters, I'm looking forward to Milan/Rory scenes, yay...hehehe.

While I was writing this chapter, I kept thinking of how much harder it must be for Milan to fit in. I mean it could either make him stronger, or break him. He came out stronger, so I'm glad that turned out well. Poor Rory, as I edit the next chapter, I'm like he is straddling two worlds with Milan, and it's pushing him to limits I think he has never experienced before. Change is so hard... I had an encounter of late about this....and to tell you the truth, no matter how much you study, or listen to a native speak your language of choice, if you are bilingual, the accent will always exist and you always get asked about it. So, it tickles me to no end to read this. Thank you!
