Thanks, getting along with this story. Raphael and Hyun are like sweet candy, can't stop eating it even though its bad for my teeth...lolz.

A small buzz on his wrist, drew Raphael’s attention from the hotel manager to his watch. The screen was a shade of red, the countdown at four minutes and dropping. Taking his phone out of his pocket, he accessed the video feed from Hyun. The number of red dots heading toward Himura and Hyun was alarming. Four minutes, Raphael hoped his luck still held. Gripping his phone tight, Raphael smiled at the manager. “Mr. Nesbitt, why don’t I save us from a torturous evening of you try

Chapter 12 Midori leaned his elbow on the wooden table mounted under a tree, and watched Yoshi peel peaches. He cut them into pieces, and took a small piece, holding it to Midori’s mouth with a small smile. Midori took the offering, the sweet taste teasing his senses. He could live this way forever. Yoshi looked happy peeling peaches and slicing them into pieces. His white robes light to counter the heat of Dwind. With each hour the sun lowered, eating up the little time they had

Chapter 2 - The Present – Elusive Peace and Quiet Twelve Years Later I - Sweet Taste of Escape The world was a cluttered, noisy, massive weapon, constant, and unrelenting. Filling his mind, brain, and thoughts, he craved silence and loved absolute quiet. Or in exchange…a constant loud noise that drove away everything else. Koji stood still in the middle of a dance floor at the G Club in Osaka, eyes closed as the music pulsed around him. Loud, driving…sending a delicious

“Watching you is getting painful.” Raphael opened one eye to look at his twin. Gabriel sat, perched on the porch rail, his hair flowing around him. The sun was high, the weather warm. This little hideaway off the Malaysian Coast was akin to paradise. He could stay here forever and forget his obligations. He and Gabriel had loved bringing Talin here to escape winter. “What could be painful about enjoying the sun?” Raphael mused, closing his eyes, enjoying the warmth of the sun

Chapter One - The Past – The Sukiyama Barrier I – His Brother’s Shock Rain fell in sheets. The night was darker than black. Alarms blared through the five-acre Sukiyama Estate. Constant, and deafening enough to make his brain hurt. None of it stopped Tama Sukiyama. At fifteen years old, Tama’s determination was stronger than most. He could move a mountain if he wished it. On this night, he cut across the Northwestern lawn, running to the unsettling bamboo forest on the outskirts

Months after finishing this, I feel I have to confess that this story is based off someone's actual life. A choice my brother's friend made with an ending close to this though theirs is more beautiful than I could render. The period of silence was more difficult than can be explained, but when we talked with him, he said that seeing his "Shin" after so long pushed the loneliness so far away that it seemed like yesterday when they parted. On the character Shin's explanation, hmm... I always find this really hard to express. Since the US has made such great strides with gay marriage, influencing most Western countries and the rest of the world. However, there are those societies that are still struggling. So, Shin's reality, with his father laying down the law like he did, it would affect him economically, socially, and he would need to work to get out of his father's shadow and live his own life. Our Asian culture has such a deep reverence for family ties, that when they exist and are deep, it is hard to say 'You know what, fuck this, I'm gonna do what I want." It is very challenging, and torturous, that it's easier to hide the truth, or live as Shin did until he could go his own way. Even Miki couldn't outright tell his parents about the nature of his relationship with Shin either, this is part of the reason why he understood Shin's position. No one wants to be responsible for their father falling dead...That was the viewpoint I wrote this story at. The real Shin's need to protect his family, even though it meant giving up Miki for a period of time, until he could do more to protect his love. His love was portrayed in the work he put forth to make Hayashin come to be, and make a home for them. I struggled with wanting to change this, as everyone always wonders, how could they live years without having a conversation with this person they love? I had doubts too, but the true side of this story, didn't allow for me to do much for this story. The owner of the name Shin says, 'The years disappear when I see him, he's mine,am his, so even apart, of course we're together. Don't change it, as those years apart were important to our bond now.' Well, you're lucky as I never make real explanations for my stories and you get a whole chapter. Thank you for reading through my work, I'm so excited because of you.

This story is always so liberating to write. I break all the rules here, so glad you love it still. I should dedicate a few weeks to this now and see where His Royal Highness and Sando take me. Poor Sando, he just can't get a break from the Prince...

Reviews are always fun to read regardless of how long. Adrian is a very skilled troublemaker. I never got around to sharing a picture of him, or what I thought he should look like, lolz.

Adrian is a bad egg, as Hill says in this story, he was Alexi's catnip. It's great going back to this, I feel like I'm on a journey back because of you. Thank you!

I hope you love it too!

Funnest story to write, simply a moment in their lives.

Yes, a lot about tea in this one. Tea is such a part of my life, I wondered what a story would look like if I tried, and came up with The Precious Teahouse.

Thank you Sweetlion.

Chapter 11 The Palace Courts, Lexin City Almira clutched a small gold coin in her left palm, feeling the texture, the perfect round shape. She closed her fingers tight around the coin, the action hidden by the rich white silk brocade embroidered with red dragons. Her right hand gripped the smooth carved dragonhead on the arm of her throne. How many times had she sat here listening to the court ministers bicker? Decades it seemed. Good and bad memories weighed on her shoulders; she

I am Slayed!!!! lau Aigoo!! That is quite a disgusting sandwich, the kids would definitely throw it away. This is why I need beta readers. lolz. Originally, I meant this sandwich to be ham, honey mustard and tomato, but it was early in the morning, and someone close was having a tiff about jam with me. Guess I just typed it out and didn't think about it after. Don't fight and write. lolz. 4

Puppi, you heart of gold you, great big hug for making my evening!! Thank you! -
That's a real pleasure knowing the chores took a backseat for this story. I would definitely help you with the dishes, and sorting papers, mowing the lawn though...that one you're on your own.... I'm glad you you enjoyed this story of mine. A big hug to you. They say being away makes the heart grow fonder, or something like this, but you're right, separation is hard. Ryo and Soubi are strong. As for Tohaku, I struggled with including more on him, but in the end it felt like his story would take up a whole book...struggles...so I left it as is. Thank you for reading. Thank you for the encouragement. I hope to write more soon.

These native issues are sometimes really hard to express. Hmm...Ryo's obligation actually stems from the fact that Tohaku, his brother, asked him to take care of Sakura and his child. This kind of promise is hard to break, so he will go through everything he can to protect this promise. Such a good man...lolz, no wonder Soubi is crazy about him...hahaha

Up and down, seems like stuff is always happening.

This was an easy chapter, just them living life. I love these slice of life types of scenes by the way. Just everyday life..
