Hello Trevin, very nice to meet you! The short answer to your question is “irregularly.” The long version: I write in a very linear and relatively un-plotted fashion. I imagine the characters go about their own lives while I am gone. With that being said: Talon does have more life, surprises, and places to go, return to, and experience. I thank you for asking. The number of views means one thing, hearing from a real person, such as yourself, means so much more. Please don’t let my crazy lack of schedule throw you off. I invite you to keep letting me know what you think as we go along. Thank you once again for writing. Hugs.

“I ran for Leaf when she started before sunrise. Meg and him are in with her,” Mane spit out. Foal looked down suddenly. “I forgot to wake you… sorry…” They looked up at me, worry was written all over them. Petal called out again. They sat close, protectively. I nodded and walked over to the fire. It was slowly dying. I grabbed the last piece of wood and tossed it in. “More wood,” I told them and left the house.

So after saying it on e-mail and Facebook, here we are... Happy Birthday to My Dear Friend!
-
The evening meal was controlled chaos. Meg did her best, but the home their family shared was clearly too small. I wondered about where we would all sleep at night. In a place like this, it would be very unlikely for strangers to be welcomed into a person’s home and I saw no taverns to speak of. I finished eating what I could grab and sat outside the door in the street. I could hear the cacophony of voices from inside clearly. “Are you alright?” Leaf leaned out th

Thank you for your continued well wishes! As a friend of mine would say: "It warms the place where my heart should be!" I adore her! Another Bear Hug back to everyone!

We boarded as soon as we could and settled together on the deck. I was happy to leave this place behind. Deep Channel was fine for the most part, but it was a powder keg waiting for its fuse to be lit. There was some talking on the dock and I looked over at two men climbing aboard. I scowled inside. It was Bran and his brother. The smaller glanced at me with surprise. They settled on the farthest point of the ship they could as the ropes were being untied. Even from where I w

Did I Ever Mention To You All That I Let Two Homeless Guys Stay Over Winter?
Randomness commented on W_L's blog entry in Life is worth an entry
Taking in people was very selfless. Now, I am doubting my slightly left of center tendencies. I am way too skeptical and untrusting to let strangers in my home. You are a wonderful, kind person who did a good deed. I applaud you. -
I am not sure how else to say it, but, I really, really liked this story. If this is your first, then you are about to put a lot of us to shame very soon. Stories about adults, closer to our own age, seem rare, yours really drew me in and charmed me. And this was all to a prompt?! Wonderful. Please take the leap and write more, we will read!

I really appreciated the multiple mythological touches: the laurel tree symbol for example, and the mention of other myths (Cupid and Psyche, Jupiter and Ganymede). An especially fun experience for those of us who own a copy of Bullfinch's Mythology.

I had been wondering about that! We are so happy for the two of you!

I said goodbye to Leaf. Hardly an eyebrow raised when I returned alone and boarded the ship. I still didn’t feel my best. I napped the last few hours before arrival and might have slept through docking had the harbor bells had not woken me. I disembarked and went to the inn that Mane had brought me to when I had been here last. I wanted a drink before searching for anyone. One drink led to another and I realized that it was too late to go to them. I made my way to a common room and slept

If I've learned anything, it is that the world changes constantly. We can only do the best we can with what we know at the time. I think you understand that now. Please feel lucky that you are able to grasp that concept at twenty-eight. I was born a pessimist, live as a realist, and am optimistic about where we are going. It has taken a very, very, long time for me to get here. W_L, please: forgive the past, live in the present, and hope for the future.

Depends what you are into. There are many museums: Field Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, Modern Art, etc. Sight seeing: the Willis (formerly Sears) Sky-deck Truly tons of stuff, what are you interested in? And which airport are you coming into? Or Train? Or whatever?

So I should have shamelessly plugged... www.gayauthors.org/story/randomness/thelongroadto "Story NoteWarning: This story does not know what it wants to be when it grows up. It moved from the geographic space of one world into its own and the characters are now decidedly human. For those who don’t know or don’t care, don't let World of Warcraft put you off. For those who like WoW, you may find a few lingering traces. The story's tone changed as things in life have. It has been a way to unwind when reality has not been as advertised. The tale moves at its own pace when and if I feel I need it, or as it needs me. It may never end. Please take your time and enjoy. I am happy to hear any thoughts you may have. Who knows? You may find yourself in here somewhere. GW Randomness"

I am a “streaky” player. I will go for periods where I will play every second that I am not sleeping or working, then suddenly I go completely dormant for months. All the updates have to be loaded when I get back, ugh! Been around for about five years now. Upgraded through Draenor and playing a Human Rogue which I have never done before, I can’t decide if I want to boost him to 90. Have both Draenei and Tauren Hunters in the 90’s. Being a WoW player always seems a bit like being in the closet to me. There are millions of players out there, but I rarely hear anyone talk about it in person. LOL J

“Stay with me, stay with me…” My stomach lurched. I felt like someone had kicked me hard in the belly. Water started coming out of my mouth. Hands grabbed on me and pushed my head over something. “There you go. Good, good...” The hands rubbed my back and side, hard and steady. I opened my eyes in the darkness. My head and shoulders were over the side of the boat. I continued to vomit water up out of my chest over the side into the water from whence i
