Julian should know better than to touch it. I guess we chalk it up to him being distracted by Raven’s plight. I feel bad for Henry, who keeps getting mentally violated. Nothing can be done to strengthen his will? He makes me think about MY will — would I be strong enough to fight off such an assault?

Posting the pics was part of the plan; other than that nothing is clear. Did Leon share his idea with Logan telepathically? Because I don’t know know what plan Logan is telling Stevens about. And if Petr is calling Logan to get in on it, I REALLY don’t understand what’s happening. The queen: I’m surprised no one has noticed she speaks of Leon in the present tense. Rookie mistake. :0)

I was surprised Raven didn’t speak up about at least offering Henry money, since he saved him, too. And Raven didn’t even thank Desmond, who could have left him to the dogs. I’d like to think Julian hasn’t completely stripped him of his humanity and he’s just stunned ... and will convince Julian later to reward Henry a little. Am I the only one thinking Des and Raven might be half-brothers? Or they might be connected because Des destroyed the mirror that was “attached” to Raven, therefore taking over the attachment. Katya, how many stories remain in this series? I feel (assume? hope?) we’ll see all these characters again — plus the Guardians and Monkey and his parents. 😉

Gabriel and Julian have got to be terrified. Their mates mean so much to them — probably especially so since they both got another chance at love after their original mates. (Interestingly, both were women the first time around. How refreshing that in this world, omnisexuality seems to be the norm, not the exception.)

Yes, only apply the cream to the visible parts of the body. Evil hag. I hope Des applied some to Raven’s back after she left. I remember Raven told Julian he killed Rufus. I wonder if this incident changed that.

Thank you!! Cool cut. Desmond’s hair must be naturally suited for this, because I can’t imagine him using any “product.” Cloud Strife looks like he has a milk mustache, BTW. IJS.

Aaaaaand here’s where I tap out in the comments. Stuff like this — time travel, altering the past to affect the future — hurts my brain in books and movies and TV shows. I kinda have to let it just flow over me, because I never fully understand it. My questions only confuse me more, so I’ll stick to other aspects of the story. I assume this ability will come in handy (or royally fuck something up) later in this epic series, so I’ll hold on and ride it out.

Ok, now this is making my head hurt. Gabriel handled Liz however he handled her back then. This is a dream, so it’s the same situation that plays out in a different way, thanks to the addition of Desmond. But when Gabriel wakes up, he knows that’s not how it really happened. So are you saying that Desmond’s power really does send him back in time to real events? He time travels in these “dreams” and changes the past to effect the future? EDITED TO ADD: I just read the next chapter. Sigh.
