I'm sorry to see the end of this story, but what a story. Nick went thru so many trials but he stayed the same shy, quiet but very compassionate. I think Dave is the one that changed so much, grew so much that he didn't even resemble the boy in chapter one by the end of the story. Amazing what love can do eh? Looking forward to Hubris when it comes out. Want go see what hpened to Craig, Dave, Matt and Mel. Maybe a bit of a peak at Nicks mom too. And sequels are always worth waiting for.....maybe not ten years lmao

Beautiful chapter. I knew when it was time he would do it and he did it very well, all at once. I think more raucous was caused by him not coming out than when he did come out. As if not actually seeing nick face to face is actually going to convince Dave's dad that it didn't happen lol.

Jesse is hurting as bad as Maxie but in a totally different way. Interesting that they both describe a missing part of their heart shaped like the other boy. That tells you more than anything just how much these two mean to each other. On a side note the doc is good get him upset and sidelined about toy planes and Jesse is so upset about that that he shouts out what the center of the problem is. Yeah he tried to back pedal out but that's Linda like shutting the barn door after the border has escaped. It will take time but after putting it out there it should not be easier but more effort in dealing rather than hiding that big elephant in the room yeah?

Grayson is a lot more observant than his shyness let's on. I like the way things are going between Evan and Greyson . And yes it was awesome the way Greyson left Chandler and Asa looking after him and Evan kind of confused thinking...wait he prefers HIM over us..lol

Greyson. Has excellent timing now if Evan can keep his mind on his work maybe they can enjoy those sandwiches while they still warm and sloppy.

I like the way at the end of the chapter he finally realizes Chandler was a fantasy, which would. Even why he could never make that first move. Would be interesting to see what happens next.

Matt is right here can give Nick a lot even more than Dave can at the moment. But Nick loves Dave so much that he is willing to wait for Dave. Dave knows this but but time is no one's friend and standing up to his father is more than stuff it dad I will do what I want, it evolves a complete 360 turn in a lifestyle for odds are he will lose everything to gain Nick. Nick knows this and will wait.

Well as Michael is so deep in the closet, let alone the fact that I'm not sure Michael even knows Asher is Gay I'm pretty sure he isn't calling for a raunchy sex invite.so maybe a make up date for the missed game. I also noticed how well Michael let the coke no rum slide by. Must be hope for him yet, since it has been a few days since Asher has caught michael drunk. So can't wait for next chapter.

Hmmm I don't usually read about the "bad" version of a sorcerer but I will hold judgement til I learn more about him. Right now he seems like the typical teenage boy who knows everything and won't listen to anything else. I hope you continue posting more chapters to this story sounds like it could be a good one.

I knew there would be fallout from Jesse trying to ignore what happened, but I never thought it would be that vicious. I imagine Jesse is hurting just as bad but my god!. I spent three quarters of that chapter crying, I really hope something happens that Maxie is shook out of this state or the happy go lucky boy will literally die of a broken heart. Maxie's mother totally stupid I would say prick but even that word is too kind. Please tell me a happier chapter is on the way soon.

Well we knew Dave's father was a prick but didn't realize he was that bad. Too bad it's going to turn around and bite him in the ass at some point. It's going to be horrendous for the boys for a bit but I think in the long run it will actually make them stronger. Wonder how long the rape and that will stay private cause if it isn't bad enough for Nick now it's will be twice as bad when that's made public. Can't wait for the next installment.

I'm guessing turn of the century to me anyway is around the beginning of 1900's when I hear that phrase that's the timeline I think of anyway. There really isn't a lot of info about gays at that time. To me I guess I would research that time era, and specifically the zone or place its taken in. Even as it is today, some parts of Europe are very blatant in your face than North America. Others European areas are was more straitlaced in modest. If it takes place in North America is it Caucasian based or native American. If native American there culture has a whole different and laid back way in aspect if being Gay that white people did. So to me I would take what I found for the era, locale,race and since odds are there wouldn't be a lot of information just smudge what you did find a bit to suit your characters. It's your story as long as you colour within the lines they are afterall your lines to colour. Not sure if that's what your looking for or not just an idea given what info I read into your entry :-)

Cassie is right you can't face your fears if you run from them. Having something that you fear isn't a bad thing either makes you human, but the way you deal with it makes the difference of whether your weak or strong. Hiding from it blocking it or running from it can be dangerous and will eventually do damage. Pushing your fears onto others will create most likely same situation in the long run. Facing your fear will give you strength, but again a time and place for safety if possible. Wotse thing that could happen is enexpectedly facing that fear at a disastrous time and freezing. As to you comments on men and fears, I really hope as individuals as well as a human race that we have grown past the caveman style or Tarzan thinking of "me Tarzan you Jane" women have strengths and weaknesses so do men. A friend of mine is a so-called man's man as some would call him but cut your self and show a little blood and he's out cold on the ground. Doesn't mean he's weak just means he can't handle blood. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses its how you deal with that sets your character at least that what I think. Really enjoyed your blog Yettie.

Oh wow that chapter was awesome. The emotions and feelings that both were undergoing was ribbons thru everything. Even the flash of the past was there for Jeremy. I think the best line that told everything though was when all the thoughts lines and words flew back to the poems , sorry can't recite the exact wording as you put it. But the flashbacks for Jesse where slides of Maxie then the gents room then two more of Maxie was perfect was outstanding. Whether it was planned or not for Maxie to bottom was ideal as it would be all fresh with no memories. Very awesome chapter one of the best so far in this story, told everything the boys felt by emotions, movements and almost no words.

Yay!! I'm enjoying this story don't want it to end yet.

About time!! Now hopefully they can find a way to work it out so that everyone wins. Interesting to see how the brothers take to it.

Surprising that people objected and stopped reading your story due to a something that happened. I actually think that chapter was well done, you knew it was just a matter of time before Craig flipped again. It wasn't overly descriptive which actually made the act that much harder to bear. The fact that they didn't go to the police..Hello 16 year old boys used to hiding their sex life and no one to really tell with Zoe gone. This chapter was done equally well good on Dave putting his Dad,so lights out and getting out of there. Probably not the best idea overall but probably the safest. I like the fact that Jason and Zoe got together to look for the boys and the fact that even after finding them they still stuck together. As to the Nemises aspect I like the way both explanation are applied in this story. The inaccurate one of enemies applied right from the beginning then slowly changed to the lesser known one. Though I do have to admit I think it applies more to Dave than Nick. Nick has never had an easy life where he would have a chance to get arrogant or such whereas Dave filled that bill quite easily. I can't say that I agree with the constant troubles that Nick constantly getting hit with its fast reaching a point that will be beyond his ability to bare soon even with Dave's loving support. But I think soon a time will come where the tables will be turned and Dave will need that love and support. We will see. Looking forward to seeing Craig getting his due.

Excellent story. The way that you did a story that took place in 2043. With flashbacks of present tbru to the time of the story was taking place was phenomenal. Granted you had to be on the ball made sure you read the titles so you know what point if view the story was being written from was essential. The fact that you wrote in the things we can only pray would happen like the cure for Downs and even Aids. The fact that there was mention of a women president and 2Gay presidents and yet it was so believe that it will happen. Peace in the middle east, even if it in turn cost the life of two presidents. This story is phenomenal and I will miss the characters from but I'm glad that I had a chance to get to know them even if only for a short time.. Thank you

Great story looking forward to reading each chapter. Only thing I'm wondering about is if his sister translated what her brother actually said or whether she paraphrased with added words. Somehow that beautiful smile couples with said slur doesn't add up right, but we will see.

Am I the only one that thinks the next few months for the guys will seem longer than normal. I remember show and tell from my daughter classes her coming home telling me about kitties, puppies and I believe a few rabbits mixed in as well. Thankfully Murray reserved his strong olfactory gifts to the car and did not share that with the class or any other bodily functions deemed not appropriate by school standards lol. Nice chapter looking forward to the next one.
