It likely ( a fore gone conclusion actually ) that in comparison to the meaning of life as we know it or the creation of the universe, this is a non event. However, here and now (on this site), it is commendable achievement. Well done Mark, you have the deserved honour of having the 1st, 3rd and 4th T.R.S. of GA. Thank you also my fellow followers of ' The Odyssey ' for what you have done to make this happen.

This was/is a story that I have thoroughly enjoyed. I will look for others in this series, with great anticipation. As time passes I know I will return to again read these chapters and enjoy them as much once more. Thank you for this great story.

It would seem that all that has occurred before was to help with that which was yet to come. Some might call it destiny, or some might call it faith, I would say what does the spelling of it matter. Great chapter, thank you. -
Will all of our boys survive the fight with the gnome. I worry for Petrus who now holds the sword. If the gnome dies, who will his master send next, someone even more powerful? Great chapter, thank you.

More friendships made and allies created. Yet more bad guys terminated. Still on and on must they go, the why and to where as always a mystery to unravel. Great chapter, thank you.

How will they let him know that his former master is dead. Maybe he will sense it himself. So on they go, cleaning up spots of darkness as they pass by. Great chapter, thank you.

Of all the things to have happened on this quest, the death of these innocents was one of the hardest to take. How Arthur handle it. Great chapter, thank you.

Their abilities are expanding, into areas not seen in thousands of years. What are they becoming? More important, what are they being prepared for? Great chapter, thank you.

A gilded cage, is still a cage. I wonder if he will be allowed to send a letter (vetted of course) to Caroline. I wonder now that Talleyrand has extracted his pound of flesh (5,000 lbs) from George, if he will not try to expedite his return trip home ASAP. Not I hope, before he is able to meet up with his lost duckling (Lt Eastwyck) whom he doesn't even know was captured, let alone somewhere here in France. You do have a way of doing that Mark (yes you do). A great chapter, thank you.

This was the first time Arthur was overcome and the boys had to save him. They are learning their lessons well and the ability to adapt or react as a situation arises. So this dark creature has a boss that he has to account his failure(s) to also. Great chapter, thank you. -
What ever this quest maybe, our four seem destined to right any wrongs that they encounter. This charred boy though was really an amazing save, I hope it all works out for him. Great chapter, thank you.

Are these last attacks just luck (destiny yes, but not directed by the dark creature). All have now been tested and not found wanting. Does Arthur some how sense his impending death, I hope not. Great chapter, thank you.
