    Chapter 3

Happy to be going to the Med instead of India. Sad to loose Calvert after all their efforts. Happy that Intrepid will have a Captain who will take care of her. Who will his Lordship find for him, will he luck out again? Off to new adventures, but with a heavy heart. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 2

Amazingly brave of Calvert to meet and make a deal with Caroline. Even more amazing that she agreed. With much work the ship has been transformed. The first test was Caroline and a total success. Now comes the ultimate challenge, his Lordship. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 1

A sad ship and crew, with just two weeks and a visit by the First Sea Lord, he has his work cut out for him. With Calvert and his old crew helping, plus his prize money, I am sure his Lordship (and wife) will be suitably impressed. Georges' wish has come true, in command of a wolf of the sea, every Post Captains' dream. Great chapter, thank you.
  4. Mark This was by far the best of the three to date. The characters, adventures and flow of the story kept me constantly looking out for the next chapter. I would enjoy it more if there was less sex involved, but that is your style. So to get what I want I'll take what you give. Bridgemont really is my favorite, thank you very much.

    Chapter 32

Command of a frigate. A chance to clear her name and shame, to make his mark as her Captain and restore her to glory. His wife now knows and still wants him. But in return he is off to India once more. He has Calvert and his old crew with him, which should give him a fighting chance. This was your best in the series, thank you ever so much.

    Chapter 31

Instrumental in getting a treaty ratified. The cherry to top off an unbelievable voyage. Influence, charm, friends in very high places and a string of successes. Mixed all together gives us a very young Post Captain and a frigate called Belvidera. A wonderful chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 30

Of course the French man would have incredibly important papers which George manages to save. Important enough to go see the President. Small world that those he and Travers saved just happen to be around. Impressive but not surprising with Granger around. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 29

Humphreys his own command, Fitzwilliam with him. Calvert back aboard as 1st Lt. One more trip (but a long one) and then back to home. Sounds to easy, something has to occur. Promotion to Captain, not even twenty yet, well it is a story so why not. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 28

Good judgment and fast thinking as well as luck won the day. Humphreys' assessment and quick actions were the key to this one. Taking back two prizes to boot is another feather or two in Georges' cap. This should get even Jervis to smile. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 27

Fortunately George is a fast talker and turned a possible disaster with Jervis into praise and a mission. Calvert is almost healed. Humphreys is in seventh heaven with being given command of the assault. I wonder if Murphys' Law will come into play again. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 26

A hero once again without a shot being fired. Calvert on the mend. When things go right for George they do in a big way. Is there a prize for taking an island? Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 25

Grandfather gives George the bitter facts of life, then as a salve, a grand house in London. Calvert dying except maybe for piss and maggots. He is off the hook and gets Fitzwilliam off also and sails off to his mission, with him in tow. Well done, great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 24

Well we know one of the genes that he passed on to George. Will George listen to his advice. He is back to the seamen again. I wonder exactly how George defines honorable when reflecting on his own actions. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 23

Calvert, alive but will he survive and Fitzwilliam, both back on board. Freemantle cut from the same cloth as a Wilcox. Jervis sounds like a good man. Now on to meet his Grand papa. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 22

Humphreys, Lennox and Jackson (who of course was merely medicinal). I suppose there is time for everything else that has to be done. Once again, caution and a keen eye saved them from probable destruction. Now who could it be on this boat that George has recognized. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 21

The shoe dropped (both actually) Calvert and Fitzwilliam gone. Cavendish I guess is new meat and he can play (an instrument). How will George amuse himself now? Is there more bad stuff to come? great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 20

Another quiet chapter, with a shiny medal added. Another 10,000 for the kitty. Some thing must be about to happen, what, what? Good chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 19

A happy home coming. Then given orders the next day to depart shortly for The West Indies. Arthur and Francis in his house, this bound to cause a problem. What will, could Caroline do, she didn't look to pleased with Francis. So much has gone right, we are due for a problem or two. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 18

His officers insanely happy over their prize money. The high for George of meeting Travers, the low of learning of Michels death. Then up again with Caroline being due. Incentive to get home, frustrated by bad weather. Last but not least saving the Head of Holland, Not your typical average trip home, but then again George is proving to be an extraordinary Captain. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 17

Stuck here, then striking a bargain with Bertie, to getting him home. Brilliant, plus his money back, saving Berglands' career and a promise from Bertie to stop his dealings with the French. Then disaster, loosing Calvert. Then Jacksons' (devious Doctor) ingenious plan of the fever flag. A happy ending and beginning to a trip home. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 16

Bertie, the cause of his wilcox problems. Now responsible or rather having a large part in this clandestine scheme with the French against our Dutch allies. What to do about it and with Bertie. Georges' life is full of complications. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 15

Barney definitely saved the day. Now warned, the problem was taken care of. How to get the Rattlesnake back and complete his mission? Great chapter, thank you.
  23. sandrewn

    Chapter 14

They (those Wilcoxs) are like fleas (or is that lice) hard to get rid of. Bertie living it up, Hobart oiling (it) up George (literally). Wilcox sending him out to find Rattlesnake. Off on his own again, what will he find, will he find Rattlesnake? He will need all of his luck this time in order to succeed. Great chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 13

A quiet chapter, some deaths, some promotions. These kind of chapters are needed, even if not as appreciated. A good chapter, thank you.

    Chapter 12

All the pieces came together and George has another feather for his cap. Calvert getting wounded put a damper on his celebrations, but I'm sure will to be able to help make up for it when he recovers. Is there a breather now, with George, I doubt it. Great chapter, thank you.
