Corey´s mum is really nice and caring, his dad, on the other hand, wants his son to fight, even if he´s outnumbered and probably could have been hurt badly. I don´t like him. I do like Greg, wonder what he´s up to.
Baseball can be so boring Not a game I know much about. What´s wrong with Corey´s arm?
Why has Corey´s summer work prevented him from doing other summer stuff, like parties? Surely he hasn´t worked every day and all day?
Looks like a nice story and great characters. And I noticed this is a long story
Unhappy teenager, caring mother and demanding father. “No son of mine will turn down a beer,” What kind of a father forced his underage son to drink alcohol, and he´s a teacher as well. That was weird
I had never even heard of Jeff Foxworthy before, now I know better, reading can be so educational
I know Aaron´s birthday party was also a going away party, but still....where are all their friends? Aaron has lived there all his live, surely he has a friends and relatives to say goodbye to, and Slade must have friends too.
Anyway, great chapter
Great chapter!
So glad Aaron didn´t go to meet Slade´s father, he probably would have been hurt and badly, he sounds crazy. Slade´s mum should throw her husband out, he´s scaring all the kids and treating Slade horribly.
Aaron and Slade are so good together, it´ll be very difficult for them to be apart.
Poor Slade! Parents wanting him out of their family and having no contact with any of them, that´s just cruel. Hopefully Aaron calms down a bit on his way over there, or things could get really nasty. I still think Slade should move to Boston with Aaron´s family. Why would they leave him behind to live with some aunt?
Lovely chapter. I´m glad they had a chance to have some fun.
Slade´s parents are awful, disowning their own son because they don´t approve who he loves. They are just evil and ignorant. Aaron´s parents are so much nicer people and Candace was great.
It probably won´t be safe for Slade to stay at his parent´s house, his father seems volatile and could easily hurt Slade. Perhaps he could go with Aaron´s family to Boston
Really enjoying your story
That was so sweet
They are both adults, have been best friends for years, so why did they feel they had to lie about their weekend plans? Why would their parents object them being together the last weekend? I´m glad they are having a great time
Aaron´s mum seems like a nice woman, hopefully his dad is equally accepting when Aaron decides to tell him. I can understand parents wanting their children with them, but Aaron´s 18, has a job and one year left at school, surely he could stay with Slade´s family.
On to the next chapter to find out what´ll happen next.
Robert isn´t very patient or even understanding with Josh, hopefully he´s not pushing him into something Josh isn´t comfortable with or ready for. There´s every chance they´ll make a lovely couple.
Robert should have asked about the watch, he knew it had some important meaning to Josh, doing something like to a friend isn´t nice at all. You can be too curious
Really don´t understand Terry. Why would she give up on a husband and their marriage, just because someone from Josh´s past comes along and is obviously in love with her husband? Really strange behaviour.
I read your respond to Timothy´s review, but at the moment I´d say James is evil and cruel and selfish and spoiled and I really, really don´t like him at all. James might be nicer in the future, but poor Sacha, he didn´t deserve this from his own brother. Lacey should have known better and not let James go to Sacha alone. James didn´t say a single nice word to Sacha and Lacey knows what he´s like, so why did she think it´d be good idea for James to go to Sacha to apologise.
Very powerful chapter!
Another touching chapter
This new life is so complicated to Sacha. New rules he doesn´t understand, repercussions that aren´t really punishments. Everything is so different from what he´s used to. Lacey is great and even Frank is getting better in understanding what goes on in Sacha´s mind. What will happen when James comes home? Probably nothing good
Sunday songs and a man who told them about God and Jesus, and then hurt them or let others to hurt them. Worst about all this is that even if this story is fiction, world really is a very bad place for so many.
Interesting story, but I didn´t understand why Robert couldn´t tell Josh who he was and if Josh knew, why didn´t he talk about it sooner. The conversation Robert and Terry had was a bit strange.
You used several times then when it should have been than. Mary became Jessica and then Mary again. And there were several misspelled or wrong words.
Looks like a good story. Summer camp scene was very sad and I´m sure there´ll be more sadness later on, but hopefully some happiness as well. I like your characters.
There were several misspelled words and missing words, you might want to look into that.
Can´t believe it, just when I caught up with story, there´s an accident and I have to wait until the next chapter is posted I hope Tony isn´t badly hurt.
Other than the end this was such a lovely chapter, you have created some fabulous characters.
You did say 100 chapter, right? Seriously, this is one of those stories I could happily keep on reading forever
Great speech from Tony, too bad Marcus' mum didn´t hear or understand it. The rest of the family is wonderful, how can the mum be so terrible
I´m glad James will be ok, that must have so scary for Jon.
I was going to mention a witch, with a capital B but I can see Lisa beat me to it Oops, mentioned it just the same
Two very different dinner parties in this chapter, both very enjoyable to read about. Marcus' mum really is a bitch, but luckily Tony the Bitch Tamer was there
