    Chapter 20 Bridge

So there always was a underlying goodness in Carson, he just never before knew how to show it. Even when he cut ties with Kendall, he still kept saving money for him. He could have used the saved money for himself, buy a new car or something, but no, he kept it safe for his son, even though he didn't know if he ever met him again. Kendall's reaction was understandable because he obviously had tough time in college and really could have used his parent's support. Wonderful chapter!
  2. They had a long day at the hospital, but luckily everything went well for Carson. And they had a chance to meet Dixon, who seems very nice.
  3. That thought brought him a little sadness for the young Kendall. Michael might have been a little sad, but I had tears in my eyes This was such an intense and emotional chapter, with sadness and happiness in it It was very plausible how everything went well and everyone seemed to be happy with the new situation.
  4. I'm glad they decided to stay with Kendall's parents instead of going to a hotel. Obviously hotels are great for naps but it's important to rebuild a relationship between Kendall and his parents, and of course include Michael.
  5. So Kendall's mother does have a backbone and was ready to be on her child's side and go against her husband's wishes. Good for her! And now the father thinks he has a good and capable son. That's nice Being raised by a bully and treating your own son the same way, that's horrible. He should have known better. At least he could have tried to be better Perhaps it's not too late for Kendall to have a loving relationship with his farther.
  6. Michael and Kendall are so great together, there's so much love and support and understanding. Some of it comes from knowing each other for so many years, but mostly because they are both such good people. Poor Kendall, he's childhood wasn't all fun. So glad his mother decided that her son means more than his husband.
  7. I loved the way how Michael wanted to make things official at work and not hide Kendall and their relationship Michael was totally wrong of course they are matchmakers or at least Kendall is Arron seemed like a nice man and probably just what Chet needs. Poor Kendall! His father doesn't want him even to know he's ill. Horrible parent to treat his own child like that
  8. Another great chapter! And wonderful parents making fun of their sons I felt sorry for Chet I trust that somewhere along the line you have found him a nice boyfriend I better read on and find out
  9. Michael's parents are really great, they love and support their both sons, that is so sweet. But I must say that now I'm very curious about Kendall's parents the very little I know about them tells me that they aren't quite as accepting as Colleen and Big Mike. Hopefully they aren't too bad
  10. It was obviously very important to Michael that they cleared the air and talked about Chet. This kind of romantic relationship is still new for them both, and they probably will have more insecurities and issues, and they need to remember that talking is good.
  11. Sunshine and Babe Great nicknames. Their banter is so relaxed and fun to read.

    Chapter 9 All In

Such a sweet chapter! Now they have talked and know they want and love each other. I'm glad this isn't the last chapter but there'll a lot to read about their lives, at least there are a lot of chapters left. Too often stories end at this point and I'm left wanting to know more, this time I'll get a chance to know what happens to them.
  13. Happy Birthday!
  14. Stupid Lanny Totally idiotic thing to do and Candy is even worse, laughing and stirring up trouble Fortunately Michael didn't hurt himself too badly. And a great excuse to get him and Kendall talking Neither one of them can run away from that situation, well,Kendall tried but went back soon enough. Great chapter
  15. How wonderful they are talking to each other again Obviously they need to talk more and about important things to understand where they heading in their lives, and I do hope they are heading to the same direction and together. Unless that hockey match ends badly Lanny sounds a bit crazy
  16. Poor Michael, that didn't go well Perhaps he should have planned it better I still like Chet. He seems like a great friend, and Kendall needs a friend, especially if that friend can talk some sense into him I understand why Kendall is reluctant to talk to Michael, but I hope he will soon. They both are hurting and being away from each other isn't really helping.
  17. Such an emotional chapter Michael is grieving the loss of his best friend, and he couldn't be more sad and devastated even if Kendall had died He's very lucky to have such loving and understanding parents, who clearly only want what's best for their son. For some reason I've always liked the word "bonnie". Did you know that couple of times you spelled it "bonny"?
  18. I like Chet. Hopefully he won't get his heart broken while getting closer to Kendall Anyway, it'll be good for Kendall to have a new friend, he needs something or someone new to think about. And Chet seems like a great guy.
  19. Michael's such a wonderful friend, taking care of Kendall and his car I can understand why Kendall feels like Michael is sort of taking over, moving on from the places where they used to go together. Kendall wanted to do that, so that Michael could have all the familiar places. The end was more than sweet Michael taking care of his sick best friend, that's what friends do for each other.
  20. Good for Michael for getting rid of Candy Now he can concentrate on more important matters and people, like his best friend. This was even more sad than the first chapter. So many tears
  21. Very powerful and sad chapter I had tears in my eyes and that does make reading difficult Looks like an interesting story.

    Aquinas Leaps

    Such a lovely little story
  23. Happy Birthday!
  24. Such a wise bear ”I don’t see much sense in that,” said Rabbit. “No,” said Pooh humbly, “there isn’t. But there was going to be when I began it. It’s just that something happened to it along the way.” ― Winnie the Pooh
  25. Happy Birthday!
