  1. Thorn Wilde

    Boyfriend

you called me your boyfriend and my life began more than how i present myself and the clothes i wear you made me feel like a man
  2. Morning, Reader! Hope you're right and your day becomes a good one.
  3. An easy trap to fall into. Sometimes I don't even think it's actual pride. Sometimes you say shit and you realise a moment later that it sounded arrogant af even if that wasn't the way you meant it. At least that happens to me sometimes... Though often it really is pride, and pride can take many forms...
  4. Hm, yeah I get that. That did kind of happen. I personally couldn't think of any one comment, so I used my reply to thank some people who give thoughtful comments often. I too find these comments humbling, and good reviews especially. We write these things for ourselves, and we put them out there in case someone wants to read them. When people do and they like it, it makes me so grateful to be part of a community where we can have that kind of dialogue.
  5. Suddenly started thinking... 'Have a nice day.' If you think about it, it sounds kind of like an order, doesn't it? 'Have a nice day!' Like, what if you fail at having a nice day? Do you apologise? 'Sorry, I know you told me to have a nice day, but my day sucked. I'll try to do better tomorrow.'
  6. Have a nice day, both of you.
  7. That's so beautiful.
  8. I got a notification... Have you followed the blog directly? EDIT: You're listed as following the blog... How odd.
  9. You're not wrong, tim. I think we could all do with practicing some humility, in all aspects of our lives. I'm probably not the best at it, but I do try...
  10. That is the coolest thing I have ever seen. But also, what a fantastic human being, wanting to help people, and maybe for free, even! He could release blueprints under creative commons if he really wanted to do that. So awesome. Also, I appreciate the pun in the name of his YouTube channel. Hand Solo. Lol!
  11. Don't feel too bad about it. I only saw two couples at first, too. There's like one shot where you see all three couples at once. I think it's kind of awesome that they picked a lesbian couple rather than a male gay one. They've got male homosexuality represented on stage already, in Troye. Nice to get even more diversity, I think. They're nearly all white, though, lol!
  12. Oof, I can hear snow falling off the roof, and we have some massive icicles. It's still below freezing, but only just, so the sun is melting everything a bit. Scary.
  13. That is a fun word. I like it!
  14. Good idea. Sorry about the weather. It was so windy in Denmark I thought I'd topple over...
  15. As an insomniac, I have had many a day like that, my friend. Enjoy your rest!
  16. That’s a wonderful story, Mike. All too many people are ready to condemn someone without knowing any facts. You take something that isn’t yours, you’re a criminal, end of story. Often, it’s not that simple. Lol! It was super misty here last night, and the night before. Today it’s sunny, but it’s gonna rain tonight. Morning, everyone! Think I’m maybe feeling marginally better than yesterday. Boyfriend healing powers?
  17. Well, boyfriend says we’re off to bed, so I’ll see you lot tomorrow. Night, everyone!
  18. That’s very kind of him. I don’t drink beer very often, but when I do it’s mostly craft beer and the like. I like mostly ales. Not so much IPAs, but I love a good amber or red ale. I usually drink cider, though. Good dry cider. When I visited Sasha Distan in the UK years ago, we went to The National Cider and Perry Centre. They had sooooo many good ciders and you could basically taste whatever you wanted for free. Then you picked a container of the size you wanted, from half pint to gallon, filled it up, and paid.
  19. Ooh, I love Weissbier! Had a really nice one in Denmark last weekend. Tasted almost lemony.
  20. Yay, beer! 🍻What kind did you have?
  21. Don’t they say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach or some such?
  22. Ooh, looks so tasty! Hungry again now, lol!
  23. Yum, eggroll! We had noodles, too. Egg noodles, though.
  24. Ugh... It should be a requirement that bosses have put in at least one day of doing what their employees do, so they’re qualified to make decisions about things like productivity...
