I bet he's taking him dancing! That was a 'nice' chapter after the last one, that got me rather freaked. I shot a 38 once when I was in the US, and would like to 'have a go' at a firing range - except we don't have them over here. Probably just as well.

Wow, again! A completely different side to Joe; and Billy's not how I imagined him either. What I'm really looking forward to is reading this front to back, when it's complete. I've got so much going on in RL, that I'm finding it hard to keep a track of all the threads you've woven. And, I can't believe this is going to be finished soon. You've so much going on that if you give it the treatment it deserves it must be twice as long, at least ... surely?

Lucy is absolutely right. Because of the speed you are posting, and because you are letting us 'in' earlier than most would dream of, it's giving us a sense of involvement that is unique ... hmm. Well, I understand what I'm trying to say.

A thoroughly rotten place to break off ... mainly 'cause I can't lurk online for 24hrs waiting for chapter 30. How about taking a longer train journey home? Grab a take-a-way, drinks of choice and move onto the train for the duration. 'tis a good way to write a novel ... honest, guv. :businesssmiley: Oh, erm ... 28, 29 and whatever comes next feel like they should be together. Hey, CJ, Cracking good story! I'm so glad I finally got the space to read it, and in one sitting too. I had a little bit of difficulty believing Eric could possibly be so bad. Younger brothers are supposed to be cute, and faithfully worship their elders. My sister keeps telling me this; she says it's in the 'baby brother' manual. pshaw. I love the USB plotline, and can't wait to see Dex crack it. I'm gonna have to read the thread now, 'cause I've a lot of questions, and I'm hoping some will be answered. Now, I'm panting for chapter 15. Camy

Haha. I love it Me too! Though my brain read Chris as Christ at first. :wacko: . Clever, switching characters. Joe is getting confused. As far as driving the plot, it didn't do a lot, though it was really nice 'filler' ... are we going to get a look in to Chris' bedroom, I wonder

Yep, can't beat a nightly fix of 'Busted'. To me, the details sound pretty convincing, though I have no idea how real they are. You could watch some CSI Tonight's question: Is Joe going to end up adopting his niece?
