  1. Okay, I freely admit I was wrong! Fantastic - or should that be fantastical - chapter! Wanna read the next one NOW! Thanks for yet another great story, Dan.
  2. Fantastic! Another place I want to visit.
  3. My first name wasn't in the top hundred the year I was born, though it has been as high as 6th. My middle name *shudder* hasn't been in the top 1000 ever! Camy
  4. Hmm. I'm still not convinced.
  5. I haven't seen any evidence of 'Powers' of any description. He's just got a vivid imagination ... hmm, then again I'm often wrong! Great chapter!
  6. You could dictate onto your laptop, and copy type when you're better.
  7. Nice one, CJ! Though the prologue threw me a bit, I'm still grinning like a total fool, and can't wait for chapter 3! Camy
  8. I'm hopeless at keeping character notes, often finding myself hunting through previous chapters for hair colour, eye colour etc. This program looks like the perfect solution! Thanks! Camy
  9. Brilliant mate, brilliant! Camy
  10. They're called baseball caps over here. Definitely the best thing for bad hair days. I had a NY Yankees cap for years until it was forcibly removed. By that time 'twas covered in paint. I loved that cap. *howl*
  11. When I read Nick's 'Time in a bottle' I didn't know what to say. He crafted a rich tapesty of four generations of family life complete with betrayal, death, pain and ultimately forgiveness. Not something I could ever do, and to be honest not something I enjoyed reading. Don't get me wrong it was well written, but it was a painful read. With 'Somehow, Someway' he's done it again. This time taking rape as the central theme for the emotional destruction of a family. I'm not a father (surprise, surprise), and we don't have guns over this side of the pond: but if I was, and we did, I'm not so sure I'd have been as controlled as Bob. I like stories about butterflies, elves and the weird. 'Somehow, Someway' wasn't, so I can't say I liked it. I can say it was well written, powerful, and I read it more than once. Camy
  12. So, so glad for your choice of ending. Beautifully drawn, the storm surrounded me as I read. Thank you, Camy
  13. A wonderful, sweet and poignant story, Ieshwar!
  14. Your writing I adore - enough said, however a couple of minor niggles. As part two of a quartet it should visually look the same, and it's doesn't. True, I only know because I just re-read part one - but once it's complete.... Nice though the ending was, it didn't ring true - unless the whole section is a dream sequence. I guess I'll have to wait impatiently for part three
  15. I can't tell you why I like Lugh's writs so much, just that I do. This is no exception. A fabulous story. *thinks* Perhaps it's because he makes the fantastical seem possible...?
  16. I'm so glad you're home and doing better. You must give the cats a strict talking to on 'blind etiquette'. I broke my thumb a while back and it took over a year to get full use back. The more you exercise it, the faster it'll happen. Take care - I can't wait to read your nearly anthology entry. Camy

    Bitch!

That you're blogging about it, and have realised you've been 'less than Kevin' probably means you're over it. Seeing as you're a real sweetheart, it's obviously an aberration. So ... As you've apologised at work, spend some quality time Lucky stroking, and damn well take care driving! Camy
  18. His very astute manager
  19. Why? Oh, and Ieshwar ...
  20. Ouch! *looks at his own cats, askance* Here's Hoping you get better soon. Still, look on the bright side: you get bed rest, and lots of *coughs* medication. It could be worse. Take care, Camy PS I hope Sam is feeding the reprobates.
