January 1 was when he last posted a chapter. This is pretty typical for Mark when he's busy. He's not usually online unless he's posting a chapter or responding to reviews.
In the interim, I've kept myself busy rereading everything since Bloodlines. Between that and my shiny (and stylish!) new tinfoil outfit, I feel a lot better prepared for the shitstorm that's coming.
Btw, has anyone noticed that Black Widow doesn't appear in the list of CAP stories? They're all listed in chronological order until Streak, then The Land Whore appears a second time. Is this part of the conspiracy?
JJ's disdain for the common people continues to delight me. I love that he didn't bother to tell his driver when he learned about the blackout on the news and refused to even contemplate abandoning his little enclave in the limo.
Thank you again for the chapters. Happy new year!
What a delightful way to begin the new year! Thank you.
I enjoyed the interview with Spencer even if it did result in George's unwelcome appointment to the channel fleet in an undefined capacity. Looking forward to the meeting with the King.
Thanks for this one, too! Wow, Elizabeth is really hitting out on all fronts, and poor JJ is feeling responsible for all of it. His inner monologue was priceless; I loved the aborted bitch session about Buzz's moving in and the staffing calculations, not to mention his annoyance at the excessive hugging.
Also, I finally gave in and started reading Millenium again. I am feeling far too unprepared for the coming events.
Merry Christmas and thank you for this delightful surprise. You're the best! I loved the political intrigue of this chapter! Once again, George's astuteness has brought him both political and financial gain. (The financial bit was especially amusing. ) Looking forward to events at the Admiralty.
Sorry I haven't been reviewing; I binge-read most of this a couple of weeks ago.
Very exciting (if disturbing) chapter! Andra sounds nice; hopefully she'll redeem the McGills a little bit (after the rest of them are dealt with).
I expect the precipitous mating was to give Diarmad the strength to protect himself and rescue Noel.
Great chapter. One question: If Zander read the journal, wouldn't he know that Andy is gay? I know he thinks it is fiction, but it's not the sort of thing straight teens typically write about.
Actually, hats aren't common at all. We've moved on to whole-body encasement.
This is a clear sign that:
1. You're not wearing protection.
2. You don't hang around here enough.
