I think I'm okay with that. Social media can be a blessing or a curse. Idiots don't realize when they film themselves breaking the law, it can be used against them in a court of law. A few 'tourists' in D.C. on Three Kings Day 2021 have found out the hard way.

Did I have a different character sport a man bun in Cadet? If I didn't, I need to fix that soon. Chipper's bleached his hair, had a Mohawk, a crew cut, and long tresses. I keep trying to show him as a typical young performer before I age him, relax him, and have him find his style.

I did put some thought into song selection! As for Aslam, he's been bouncing around New York getting progressively juicer parts in off-Broadway productions. (community theater in Seacacus counts as off-Broadway, right?) In either 2028 or 2029 he'll get his big break, starring in a new musical he partially wrote. Previews in Miami and Washington, D.C. prior to the Broadway opening. Get your tickets now!

Adam had left the show by the time this story was written and published. I tried watching and decided I liked my version of the show better. He served his purpose though, I needed Bliss for something else.

I've had Demerol shots twice when I landed in the ER with a gout attack that had me crying in pain. Vicodin came in handy a few times when I had teeth problems. Amazing how tooth pain can go from 0 to 60 in no time.

I already had one Squad member face substance issues, and I'm keeping Chipper sober. Mostly. I did promise regular updates on Chipper's career, and we'll get one in the Mexico book. Then, in a subsequent story, we'll hear about his guitarist leaving the band due to drug problems.

Binge reading's an option. You should know CJ studying German influenced his little brother to do the same at the Air Force Academy. It'll come in handy when the young pilot's assigned to a NATO base in Europe!

I did eventually write another long story starring CJ, but I think that will be the last one. My patience for spending a year getting something ready to publish has waned. I think I'll concentrate on short stories and novellas instead of novels fro now on.

Interestingly enough, I have something outlined (unsure what story it'll be used in) which has Owen describing his philosophy. He's not as radical as some people have perceived him. Definitely my fault.

The charmed life's been on purpose, trying to write an upbeat series. But Brad proves I'm not adverse to throwing challenges at my guys. Brad and CJ have faced the most, with Brad obviously dealing with bigger issues. However, I'm not done. I saved some stuff for when they were older. Harley and Tank are next on the list. Nothing as serious as Brad losing his legs.

You have a thing for Brad, and readers have expressed preferences for a few other Squad members. Aside from CJ and Owen, I wonder who the most popular would be? Of course, as I write this response on Feb 28, 2022, Chipper, Brad, Ritch, and to a degree Thiago have an advantage since they've starred in their own stories.
