“No!” Liebe kicked at the white, satin slippers in her grandmother’s hand. “Quiero los tacones rojos.” Pam looked confused while Owen grinned. Although the terrible-twos tantrums did not manifest themselves often, Liebe was opinionated and headstrong. At CJ’s request, she agreed to wear the same white sundress she walked down the aisle at the Michigan wedding in. Her fathers simultaneously shrugged when they looked at each other after her footwear complaint. “What the heck, mate; it’

Never went into that much h detail the "front" faces the water and two sides wouldn't have enough space because of water and large trees.- 3,873 replies

I shared that photo because I mention the Jefferson Memorial and the cherry trees in the chapter going live tomorrow. And because peak blossom time this year is predicted for late next week.- 3,873 replies

Thanks, Albert. As you can see, I managed to make something good come out of the confrontation with Tom's parents. His son calling him after so many years can only mean there's hope for a reconciliation.

Countin' on a Miracle
Carlos Hazday commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Countin' on a Miracle
Thank you, Albert. All those phone calls the police chief got after CJ was detained will be fresh in his mind. He probably realizes although the family may not be in the headlines all the time, they have powerful people they can call on. I think the chief will bend over backward to satisfy whatever requests they make. -
Meeting Across the River
Carlos Hazday commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Meeting Across the River
I don't think they counted on meeting an opinionated, well-spoken but foul-mouthed kid with the guts to stand up to them. They opened up a can of worms and they'll come to regret it. -
This chapter, and a couple of future ones with sad events, were not my favorite ones to write. I prefer a lighter approach, but sometimes I have to follow what I started and deal with unpleasant events.

After a summer of regular workouts and lifting, CJ's put on a few pounds of muscle and grown stronger. Pissing off a teen with anger issues, who can kill with his hands, is probably not smart.

All I'm Thinking About
Carlos Hazday commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in All I'm Thinking About
With over 500 named characters in the series, I've been recycling some old ones recently. I need to consider bringing back those two cops to see how CJ deals with them at 25. Those 10 years have seen him mature and become even more self-assured. -
LOL I may or may not have used incomplete endings again, but haven't left this many open threads since. If you read through my replies, you'll see this was an experiment. I think it worked, but it wasn't something I wanted to do again. However, to this day I continue to try new approaches. Part of lerning how to write better stories.

Because CJ had just left Miami, I tried to include people and events that would resonate with him. It's why I chose Marco Rubio. And once I had him in my claws, I've kept using him. In the Capitol Hill chapter going live tomorrow, Senator Rubio returns. It was fun to write their interaction 10 years after their initial meet. CJ benefitted from his internship and will apply whatever he learned to future endeavors.

LMAO - Either late or early since my birthday's next month. I looked at the date I posted this chapter and was a bit surprised. Eight years? Where the heck has the time gone? Hell, I wasn't even 60 yet, and now I qualify for Medicare.

CJ By Carlos Hazday - Series Discussion

If I've used an exact address for three of their homes, my descriptions are based on real places modified to serve my purposes. If you google them, you can find the Zillow or Redfin listings which usually have plenty of pictures. The lodge in Vail and the beach house in Malibu are entirely fictional. As for characters, scroll through this thread and you'll find quite a few pictures of CJ, Owen, Brett, and Cesar. Alternatively, google Maxi Iglesias, Alexander Ludwig, Nick Youngquest, and Henry Cavill.- 3,873 replies

LMAO - Yeah, Spencer's first appearance was not smooth. Without giving anything away, I'll admit he shows up again in the series. A couple of times.

Thank you, Albert. I'm glad you're enjoying my little saga.

It's been going on forever. At some point, extramarital sex went underground and wasn't talked about. I think some of it is a reaction to the morality policy demanding sex be only for procreation. Hard to enforce when nature made it so pleasurable.
-
Sex helps release chemicals in our brains that create good feelings. And those good feelings can often help us deal with stress, anger, sadness,,,

Blinded by the Light
Carlos Hazday commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Blinded by the Light
Just remember this is gay fiction not gay erotica LOL I do write hot scenes, but mostly when they serve a purpose and help advance the story. Just wait until CJ gets laid. LOL -
CJ can defend himself and could be dangerous. It'll be up to his fathers to harness that ability in a way it doesn't get him in trouble. A 15to kid with training and anger issues can be deadly.

You'll Be Coming Down
Carlos Hazday commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in You'll Be Coming Down
CJ's moral compass will always lead to him standing up for the abused. I think you'll like the outcome of the confrontation. -
The kissing bit is based on real life. My brothers and I always kiss Mom and Dad when we saw them. CJ's exile is something he'll never forget. To this day I touch upon it from time to time. And I can't say more because it would be a spoiler. LOL Chatri's going to stick around for a long, long time.

CJ By Carlos Hazday - Series Discussion
Carlos Hazday replied to Carlos Hazday's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Yes, I have. I share images in this thread frequently, but there are limits on what I can. If I provide links to net images, those can disappear after a while. Either the website or poster of the original pictures may remove them. And if I post pictures directly, I run into GA limits. There's a finite amount of storage allocated to each member for image sharing. I used to post them on Facebook, but I got fed up with most social media sites a while back and deleted those accounts. Often, I'll share things I find while researching/writing stories. The car I recently posted will be part of a future one set in Cuba.- 3,873 replies

Aunt May, Sawyer, Finn, Bruce... you, lady, are magnificent. I LOVE playing with my characters' names. Oh, and nice switch of POV. Worked well to get the other side of the story. Think Marc would be interested in a job in DC? I have 4 rowhouses on 10th between Independence and North Carolina that need rehabbing. Blank check. 😂
