  1. That's it! I'm raising my prices...
  2. You want humor too? Damn you guys are demanding.
  3. I'll be posting chapter 2 of Chemist, Thiago's Story later this month. Thought you might like a sneak peek at the opening scene.
  4. Hey! I'm nice to my readers. I may be slow revealing details at times, but what's a couple of years between friends?
  5. Let's be honest here; I'm cheap. And easy!
  6. Yeah, but it was different stories. This is the longest between chapters within one story!
  7. Most of that collection's stored in Everhope's carriage house at the moment. Can you imagine his kids, as teens, discovering a treasure trove of vintage t-shirts? My nieces frequently ask me for my old ones.
  8. LOL - the comment sounded as if there were more than one missing backstories. As for Northman, he's inconsequential. CJ tried to get along, but he probably closed the door on the man permanently.
  9. Psst, buddy, over here... I've got a hot CJ chapter if you're interested. Never been seen by anyone so it's a bit more expensive than the usual. Interested?
  10. As with most stories, there comes a time for the end. CDMX was conceived as a chronicle of their time in Mexico. Now that it has come to an end, the story must too.

    A Man's Job

Thank you. I've made the change.
  12. I'm in new territory with this story; I've never waited a year between chapters before! LOL
  13. Linc will be invited to dinner at Everhope as soon as CJ and Owen return to D.C. I may have CJ install a temporary camera in the first floor half-bath. For security purposes, of course.
  14. Thank you. With this book more than previous ones, I wanted to end it without dragging out the final scenes. We reached a natural breaking point and it was time to stop. We'll pick up the story with them in Florida at some point in the future.
  15. I'm fervently hoping I get a reply to my question about what backstories I didn't clear up!
  16. THANK YOU! My style has evolve but the basic desire to write a positive tale remains. CJ ain't perfect, but he's a lot better than most of our politicians. Let's hope running for office doesn't soil him too much.
  17. Sometimes I have to remind myself of that. Happened recently when I tried to make a real location fit my needs. I realized I could turn that place into anything I wanted and keep the address I preferred it at.
  18. It helps there won't be a hangover as with booze!
  19. Four pages of comments is about six too few! Basing that on the response to the previous chapter. Do I need to write a primer on drugs? Someone rolling a couple of joints as a present for friends is NOT a dealer! Thanks... I'll be back in a couple of weeks with chapter 2 of Chemist.
  20. Damn! The dislike of Northman's pretty universal. Excuse me while I pat my back for writing such a great character.
  21. Which ones? I'm pretty sure I dealt with everything and everyone of importance.
  22. I just told someone I've worked hard at my no-romance-stories reputation, and I'm not about to blow it just because I'm writing a couple of weddings. LOL
  23. I'm so glad you enjoyed the chapter. My thinking was CJ and Owen discussed what they wanted to do before Owen and Liebe left for Miami. I'm pretty sure both had Liebe's well-being as their priority. And you're right, CJ's personality would not allow him to leave until he was satisfied he had properly cleared any open items. ie Infanta and the friends they made.
  24. Thank you! My biggest fear was since readers knew something was coming, they would not feel the tension.
  25. It's now on my list of places to visit LOL
