CJ lives for the harassment and teasing. The more you do it, the more he writes But I did really like the poem Too bad you used it on a goat instead of a fine respectable young lady like Cia

Okay Well you at least have till Saturday to rearrange your winners On a side note, I used to feel the same when Edmonton and Calgary and Detroit were the top 3 teams in the league for consecutive years and only one team made it to the Stanley Cup. Now why didn't I think to just write in my suggestion to the NHL

Alas, yet another evil Cliffhanger by the King of Evil Cliffhangers :king: as voted by the vast majority of the GA public. We will all remember this next year when your nomination comes up once again I'm glad to say that I'm not apart of your Team this time, so no blame can be directed my way

So seems there is enough interest in the playoff pool, so here we go. First a few basic rules: There will be one winner at the end of the 2010 Stanley Cup Hockey Playoffs. The winner is entitled to a six month Premium GA membership, paid by me . If the winner is already a Paid Member, they can extend their membership, or in the case of a Hosted Author, Moderator/Administrator, or even a member who isn't interested in the membership, they can donate the monies to the operation of GA on their behalf. This is for fun. Their is no entry fee, thus taking away the gambling. If you're a member here at GA, you are eligble to enter. I'm sure there is ways to get around the rules, but hey, lets just concentrate on the fun. The winner will be the person with the most points out of a possible 65. Each series winner is worth 5 points. In case of a tie, there will be a unbiased draw from the possible winners to decide the final winner. Each round is a best of seven game series. I don't need to know how many games the series will be won in as this will make things complicated. Round one series are: East (1) Washington Capitals vs. (8) New York Rangers (2) Philadelphia Flyers vs. (7) Buffalo Sabres (3) Boston Bruins vs. (6) Montreal Canadiens (4) Pittsburgh Penguins vs. (5) Tampa Bay Lightning West (1) Vancouver Canucks vs. (8) Chicago Blackhawks (2) San Jose Sharks vs. (7) Los Angeles Kings (3) Detroit Red Wings vs. (6) Phoenix Cayotes (4) Anaheim Ducks vs. (5) Nashville Predators Okay, here is the bonus. I will give each entry till 11:59 MST on Saturday to change or submit their votes. All teams will have two games under their belt by that time. This means if you picked a team in Round 1, then you have the opportunity to change your entry before midnight Saturday night. At that time, I will be printing off the entries so no further changes will be allowed. Please look at Ramon's and TetRefine's enteries above. That is all you have to do!!! Have fun and if you have any questions either PM me or ask them here in the topic. Let's have fun and continue to talk the pool up. The more people that join, the more fun it will be

Hopefully I won't make this into a topic that it has to moved to the soapbox...... I wonder if you believe in creationism or evolution has a detirmination on when homosexual behaviour began. If you believe in creationism, then it might be fair to say that religion or god banned homosexuality from the beginning. Therefore it might have been only known since biblical times (for Christianity). Now if you believe in evolution, and man evolving from apes, where their is homosexual behavior in the wild, who could not conclude that perhistoric man didn't participate in gay sex? Also, if man wasn't as 'developed' back then, and reacted to more instinct than reason or thought, wouldn't he be willing to get himself off however he felt like at the moment? Just some things to consider
-
Due to time sake, I usually give everyone a head start in the sense I wait till each team has the first two games of the first series played. So if your team is down 2-0, you have the option of editing your entry. Then at midnight I print off all the entries and they are final.

So my beloved Calgary Flames were knocked out of the playoffs on Wednesday night when Chicago managed to beat St. Louis in the overtime Now I have to admit, I wanted to take my hockey puck and run home and cry, but I think I'm bigger than that It is the time of year when spring has sprung, flowers are coming up and the city of Calgary gets about a foot of snow every second week. It is also the time that the NHL moves into the playoffs. The past two years I have run a hockey playoff pool here are GA, and I'm curious if there is enough interest to run one this year. I always offer up a prize to the winner of a six month premium membership here at GA. This not only benefits the winner, but helps supports GA at the same time. The past two winners have not actually taken the membership and in lieu have donated the value of it to GA in their name. That is entirely the choice of the winner though. So who would be interested in participating in this years NHL Hockey Playoff Pool? You don't need to follow hockey, you don't need to know who is the best, who is the worse,, you just need to submit an entry at no cost to you. I wonder if Mark Arbour will be here this year, his Blues are out of the picture, but he has made a fine second place winner the past two years Trevor Time has been boasting that he is the best in every sport that he picks winners in, is he willing to put his name on an entry I| believe Krista was our only female entry last year, so will we have her and others of the fairer sex () enter this year? TetRefine is usually game for a good pool. Maybe Cammy will join him this year and they can fight over who gets to read the premium stories So who is interested in joining? I will publish the teams that do make the playoffs and their ranking, and then all you have to do is guess who will win each round and move onto and win the Stanley Cup. No entries yet, just say if your interested. This is especially true for Jack Frost who will probably just post that his Montreal Canadiens will win this year Sign up now

Yes it is INSIDIOUS (or is that Insidios to the Americans ). All I'll say is that it involves a demon that looks exactly like CJ
-
So saw this today and when they said a guy fell through a roof in Mississippi I immediately thought of James, as he is the only person I know from Mississippi. Luckily it was not Naked Man Falls Through Roof

I don't want to give away any plots or story lines but it appears C J has been moonlighting again. I went and saw Insidious tonight and there is a shot in the movie near the end that I know for a fact had to be CJ in it. If you have seen it you will know who I'm talking about in the movie . I imagine there won't be too many posts regarding this. Although if you want to see a really good, scary movie with our resident goat in it I would definitely recommend going and seeing it. Care to comment how much you got paid CJ?

Circumnavigation 70: Meetings and Concerns
wildone replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Thanks for the Chapter CJ I do have to declare a cliffhanger because their is this big question hanging over Shane and Trevor on if Shane is gay or not. It is once again left unresolved . One thing that I kind of picked out as a clue, that CJ I imagine hid in the dialog was when Mr. Blake hesitated when Trevor said he had relatives inland. Trevor always very quick with his quips to Joel about not taking Atlantis over land, so why did Mr. Blake hesitate? Is there something he knows and is not letting on? I agree Dark Prince with wanting it to be Tuesday already. Any chance anyone know how we can play an April Fools Joke on CJ and make him think tomorrow is actually Tuesday? -
Rumour has it that we have a couple of gay goats that are members here at GA , and Tigers, and Raccoons

how old were you when you realised you were gay?
wildone replied to Yuki Winchestor's topic in The Lounge
I'll be different and say that looking back, probably knew when I was six. That was the first time a boy (same age as me) asked me if i wanted to get naked and act out some pictures from a magazine he found in his parents room. It felt normal, and to tell the truth, I never had illusions of growing up and having kids or having a wife or got turned on by women. Ever. Now if you asked when I personally accepted this, that was much later. I knew I was different but knew I had to keep it as a secret. -
Okay, so CJ has been hounding me (and trust me, you don't wanted to be hounded by a goat, the only thing worse is getting horned by one ) to post something about the accusations of him being the King Of Evil Cliffhangers, his love of the death defying chapter enders, the use of the dizzying, vertigo effect of his cliffies. He wants me to step up and say something because a lot of readers and most troubling to him, newbies, are leveling accusations against him for using cliffhangers. He wants me to come forward and tell you that you are wrong in accusing him of using cliffhangers. He is begging me to stand behind him in his pleas to stop insinuating that he would leave his beloved readers with anything that could be construed as a cliffhanger. The goat wants me to give him what he so desperately wants, vindication from the title that has befallen him. So, here I go........................................... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Nope, can't do it

Thanks Chad James Unfortunately I guess I have been around the goat way too much, I caught on right away. The names Billy and Mabel gave it away to me. Very interesting autobiography It must have been the bossy and always wanting to be in charge comment. Just Kidding Oh my, I'm just full of one liners this morning Great job CJ, this left a great smile on my face.

I thought I would move this topic here to see if it could generate some more interest. Also, if you have read any stories with a gay, deaf character, let us know. I'm sure it would be interesting to see if any of our great authors could come up with a story, short story with a gay deaf character. I think it would be a challenge to show how they would communicate with a non deaf character on a different level than what we normally expect. So who is up for the challenge?
