  1. You'll have to look quite back here to see a couple. Oh My , I don't remember seeing those two pics before. If I did it would have been memorable Looking good Chase if you want to see them, you will have to go search like I did
  2. Ah, so that is what Simon and Garfunkle were singing about in 'The sounds of silence'
  3. :music: Happy Birthday Westie :music: Hope it was a great day!!! All the best in the whole next year too
  4. But you missed the point of the story Eric was the unsung hero of the whole thing I never related the Hardy Boys to it, but thinking back I can see that. I think Benji mentioned to me about the symbolism of The Dukes of Hazzard with Charger and the Jeep (guess that makes Chris playing the part of Daisy ) I saw the sheriff as Rosco Pekotrain/Boss Hog combined. The guys that had the shop and the tow truck were Cooter. I'm sure I'm missing more, but maybe CJ will reveal what parts he used from the classic TV show
  5. Your head or the touque ?
  6. A little bit of everything....Prairies and farmland on the eastside of the city, a modern city of a million people and then on the westside starts the foothills with the Canadian rockies a 1/2 hour away.
  7. I forgot that this thread was still around I posted a couple of times back 3 years ago. Bleu, I can totally understand what you are saying. I think I said basically the same thing back here. The other thing I noticed is how that the 'language' or willingness to discuss the topic has also changed over the past 3 years. I don't know if the answers are different, but the way the answers are being put forward makes me smile . Oh, and the friend I spoke of, the first BF, we were out together the other weekend and he is still doing great after 20 years with the disease
  8. Mmmmmmmm, key lime pie I'm definitely going to have to read this chapter over again. It seems like nothing really happened, but I'm sure there are clues amongst the words. Not like the goat to give us a nice tranquil, non cliffhanging chapter without some thing that should set our spidey senses tingling. It's too bad Trevor can't think the way that we are reading. If he could he would see that Shane's flirting and such may be just the same as the way he wore speedos and flirted with women to make more money as well as keep the suspicion off of him being gay. Wonder if Shane is the same way. Shane's comment about not being a prude makes me hope that maybe after meeting Mr.Blake, they are sailing isolated and Shane suggests some nude sun tanning. Not like it will mean too much to Trevor who spent months naked in the Southern Ocean. The warmth probably would feel good. As far as the plan to hide the cocaine on Joel and Lisa's bags before flying, isn't there some kind of check before they leave. I know when leaving Canada you have to clear through American customs while still in Canada. This includes a baggage search with dogs in the area as well. Then when leaving the states, you don't have to go through customs again, but the American security points are pretty strict on checking your baggage before getting into the airport lounges. The last thing I can't get out of my mind is the name of Shark Bay. There must be sharks in there Hopefully the guys don't have an encounter with one but wouldn't put it past the goat for another evil cliffhanger. Thanks for the chapter CJ
  9. That is a touque And a nice looking one at that And a fine looking head that it is upon as well
  10. ignore this post
  11. :music: Happy Birthday Mathieu :music: My fellow Canucklehead is finally 25. YAY!!!!! I'm undecided on what to get you for a present; a $25 Timmy's Card or handle bar streamers for the Moped Let me know Steve
  12. So good to see that CJ has his crown once again Should we plan another coronation for the event? We even could have Mark ceremoniously place the crown upon the goats head? We could turn it into such a gay gala. Decorate the whole place in purple, have trumpeters, choirs, livery, man servants, oh the possibilities Well, Congratulations CJ, I couldn't have wished this for a better person. And to think I had nothing to do with it at all Also, to Cia, Mark and Nephy(?), you all should be so proud of yourselves to be nominated in the same category as the King himself.
  13. Congrats to all the winners and the nominees. You all are winners in my book
  14. And we all know how much you absolutely hate irony I can't help to feel that the Blake's caught Shane breaking into their boat and when he confessed to them they took sympathy upon him and gave him the chance to redeem himself. By forcing him to look after the Kookaburra he is getting a second chance and if he screws up the Blake's only have to inform the police. And Ned's I wonder if Klein will try to follow Trevor and Shane to Shark Bay. To do that though he will need to charter a boat which most likely means talking with Ned. Hopefully Ned recognizes him for what he is and tells him there are no boats for hire. So do I get a gold star since I kind of guessed the assassin would mistaken Shane for Trevor but instead it was all the reporters? I have to admit my mind was in the gutter when Shane asked for the ten bucks, I was hoping he was gonna buy some condoms
  15. Have you both been drinking  ? Eric is the unsung hero of FTL
  16. I agree, you are not known for that
  17. :music: Happy Birthday J :music: Are you finally going to tell us what the J stands for? Have a great birthday and hope the year is great too.
  18. :music: Happy Birthday Jack :music: To our transplanted American friend who is now part of the Montreal establishment, have a super birthday and don't drink too much . Hope the day is great and the year even better. I decided to get you a present this year....
  19. You are probably so slow because you can't get over all the CLIFFHANGERS that you use in your stories as you re read them
  20. what is a sales tax (well we have a federal one, but not a provincial one )
  21. :music: Happy Birthday Topher :music: It has been a while since we have seen you around, but still wishing you a very Happy Birthday. May you have a great day and even better rest of the year.
  22. I'm mean ?????? :o I'm just a shy, quiet lurker . Everyone knows that So, if there is anyone that has technical experience or would have done the research on something technical, it would be our goat friend. Heck, he even strapped a GPS to his 4X4 in the bumper to test his theory on the usefulness of it like he described in a story  My question is with bugs. First off does anyone remember if Bridget put any restriction on Joel and Lisa to use the guest house? Did she have to be there for them to use it? She is still off smuggling drugs, going for dinner, taking vacation in the Bahamas and such, so she isn't a homebody all the time. This would lead me to believe that she has some kind of recording system set up like a security DVD system that burns on a hard drive when a camera or bug is triggered. I believe George 'borrowed' them from the police department to use, so there must be some kind of recording device. I'm going on the assumption from movies and TV shows, but are bugs not usually wireless devices? Like it is strictly a transmitter, sending out the recorded sounds on a radio frequency. When rooms are swept for bugs, are they not checking for radio frequencies in the room? So could Henry stay outside the place and use a police scanner/radio frequency scanner and detect if there is wireless signals coming from the guest house? I imagine the phone bugs would be probably the same. Will CJ share with us his knowledge of clandestine spy gadgetry or will it be considered spoilers? I wouldn't be surprised if he tested out his theory by putting some bugs in my house, phone, and computer. He is very sneaky that way. Like who would suspect a goat walking down the street to actually be using CIA grade spyware? The next thing I am interested about is that Shane and Trevor decided to rent mopeds once Trevor got some ID and go check out the surfing and such. Could they be planning on leaving town just before a certain assassin (I still smell Bondwriter having something to do with this, if not himself personally, then one of his many agents) finds them? There couldn't be any way for the rental company to track them as I'm sure they will be taking off the main roads to find secluded areas only known to Shane for the surf. It might be a delay, but a long enough one for the assassin to screw up and make himself noticed by either the customs or the RAMP Last question, if the RCMP ride horses and the RAMP ride Kangaroos, and the RCMP are also known as the GRC in French, do the RAMP have another language name for them?
  23. Even though I sit home alone While my father is hard at work I have something deep inside of me Something which I don’t know how to tell? It isn’t easy being a teenager living with him He tells me I think I know it all But then again, maybe I do It seems like he knows all I find it a challenge with him To converse, not argue It is hard to admit to But we are both stubborn as mules I try to show I care for him I guess I never l
