Congratulations Benji Just imagine what your post count would be if you did post on weekends I too have enjoyed your posts, your contribution, your wit and your humour . Some questions: Who is Corporal Tunnel? What army is he in? What can he do to you that you would have to take insurance out for? Steve

CJ, 1. You changed Joe's profile to "A redneck from Texas" 2. You have announced that your going to Dallas on June 6 - 8th Do you think this was a wise move to insult all the fine, hard working people of Texas? Isn't this kinda like poking an angry bear with a stick? Steve

ROFLMAO Too Funny...Too True I guess it is official now that it is in your own homepage CJ !!! Congratulations!!!! Steve

I don't know if anybody actually got to watch the gold medal game or not, but one thing was quite apparent after Canada won the gold medal. There was multiple 17, 18, 19 year old guys going around kissing each others . Not full lip on lip kissing, but there was a hell of a lot of smooching on the cheeks, heads, etc. This got me to wondering, is this a reflection of the teen age group in Canada. Since we now have legalized gay marriage and it is supported most by the 15-30 age group, do these guys look at kissing another guy on international TV as nothing big? That their attitude is more liberal and that it doesn't mean that they are gay or anything? I just don't think it would be ever seen in North America ten years ago. One sportscaster called them the metro sexual junior hockey team, and they actually ran a segment of all the kissing going on during the tournament. The only one who seemed to be a bit taken aback was a sportscaster during a locker room interview after a game, and a player gave him a big smooch right after getting a towel full of shaving cream rubbed on his face. So what do you think? Steve

Honestly CJ, I gave up reading the above quoted paragraph on the third sentence, as you totally lost me and there was no hope of me even guessing what you were talking about (I must have missed that class in nuclear physics  ) . In the story, since you have gone less technical on the scenes involving the building of the bombs, I have followed it with more interest. Although I may not totally understand what they are doing, I get a general feeling about what they are doing. So I would say continue on in your current style of explanation in the story. And just in case their is anyone out there that is taking notes on how to build a nuclear bomb, I'm sure they can pm you to get all the finer details . Steve

Okay CJ, your off the hook for now...somewhat. I'm a little miffed that not a single one of my predictions was even remotely close. For this I blame you I thought the chapter was a great one for clearing up many of the questions that have been outstanding. In the one chapter we found out the story behind the Shadows, we got the time line for the tour, we know that things are going ahead of schedule in Australia, and we found out nobody died (except for possibly some poor harmless snakes and spiders in the mine shaft ). I am now even more interested in if any relationship will develop between Wilde and Steve. Since Steve doesn't seem to know about himself yet, it would be kinda fun to be a bug on the wall when Wilde brings it up with him. Who knows, maybe the two will get together and everyone will have a party and Chase can re gift a certain interior decorating book back to Wilde and Steve . As far as The Scar goes, I imagine he is a little hot under the collar after spending the past while with Vladimir, I really wouldn't want to be the person that he is going to meet with who is having troubles getting the Kryton switches. With the idea of Jim and his "contacts" helping out with the guys security, I would guess that it will only help them out in the future. It is actually surprising how many big name acts use organized bikers to provide certain types of security for the group. Just it is not really shown in the media about the close relationships. Great chapter CJ and I take it that this chapter was the start of your New Year's Resolution to not write any more Cliffhangers Steve

Wow CJ I must say that I had to keep reminding myself that you actually wrote this. It was an interesting departure from what you have written before. I guess the biggest shock was just reading the word f*&k in one of your stories. It kinda made the most character development with one word. It wasn't a bad thing, and it definitely made me understand the character much more clearly. Since the anthology was the road not taken, you definitely fit that in by having Corey not hooking up with Jake. I wonder if Jake would have changed his tune if he had hooked up with Corey, or would have he had broken Corey's heart in the end. But by making the decision to let Corey go, he showed more balls than probably most of us posses. By doing so, it was the most selfless act he probably ever did. He knew he couldn't change his ways, so rather than giving Corey a life of misery, he hoped he gave him something better. But, on the other hand, how will Corey react to losing his first true love? And.... I will say that I didn't consider it a cliffhanger. For the context of the story, the ending was appropriate IMHO. Great Job CJ , but I don't know if I ever want to go out for a drink with you . Just kidding. Steve

wildone replied to Meeko's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Don't fall for this trick guys!!! He will just discuss what the first sentence may or may not be for the next couple of days and never really do anything till he actually posts the chapter. CJ is a bit of a hypnotist with his eyes and words, he seems to lure everyone in sooner or later !!! Welcome Back Bondwriter!!!! We have missed you Just when we are in need of someone who is an expert in tying people (goats) up and roasting them on a spit, your arrive Steve -

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! CJ you....you....you.... So I take your hint and go back two chapters to re read, and what do I find as the opening line of chapter 17: This has better not be the clue we are looking for :sword: :axeman: :battleaxe: :pickaxe: I think we all must unite to convince CJ that this is the wrong path to take!!! Steve Edit to add: Yes the newswire service got it wrong, it wasn't one of the Carlisle brothers! But Chase could easily now be considered one of them by Helen and Barbra now, as they are like all of their surrogate mothers. -
Welcome DLP!!! I'm (the other) Steve....I think, not quite sure . I was going to suggest setting up a discussion forum too, but I see you have done that! So I'm going to wander over there and put a post in your forum. BTW, in case anyone hasn't had the chance to check out "The Secret", may I highly recommend it. Having you here is going to make GA that much better. Now as far as the warnings about CJ, you can check out the controversies that he has caused here , here, here, here, here, here, and here, etc. etc. etc. But before you weigh in on the last link, may I suggest you educate yourself in his writing by reading not more, and not less than two chapters of his serials. Once again, Welcome. Steve

Let The Music Play CH 19: Then there were Two
wildone replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
I agree with the misdirection. Barbara was monitoring the news services for the name Carlisle. So if the headline was something along the lines of "Tragedy happens in climbing incident involving the Carlisle brothers...", Barbara would be alerted. Any mention of the accident, regardless of who was involved would most likely have their names included. Then again, our goat is the master of deception, so we may have all missed the obvious. Possibly Wilde and Steve had their discussion and Wilde offered up a bottle of Tequila to the other two. After a few swigs, Eric looks over the edge to see how Chase is making out and spots the paparazzi hiding behind a rock taking pictures. Not having a handy fire hose, Eric instinctively leaps off the cliff to tackle the photographer, and hits him so hard in a free fall, that he kills the photographer. It's not like we haven't seen these scenarios before I kinda like the BBQ idea. How bout making it a pool party with a BBQ? I know CJ would be much more comfortable at a pool party. Steve -

Think of it as more or less "tenderizing" -
Oh , Look what I found before CJ could do any editing . Check this out.

Sacha, I not one usually to stir the pot . But here is some evidence that may cause some turmoil in this little love in between CJ and yourself . I may need Shadowgod's confirmation here, but I do believe that CJ may have stated in the past that he believes Canada is a mythical place that doesn't really exist. I do believe that he believes that we all are a figment of the media's imagination, and a conspiracy of said media. So, I do believe CJ has stated that Conner, myself, Jack Frost right now, and yourself are all "not real". If you need proof, I shall do some digging for said posts. Steve

Ah, but CJ, anybody who has seen another male in a climbing harness, knows that, well lets say it accentuates a certain area of the male anatomy . Therefore, since I have come to the conclusion Steve is gay, he may just have shortened the waist to leg straps to make things just a little bit more "snug" and appealing as eye candy goes . Yes, but she didn't mention who she thought would be her favourite, did she? And I said, Helen is most likely seeing how they are dealing with the shock. But rather than beating a dead goat , which you may well be in the next week , I will say no more. Except, I must disagree with your opinion of Graeme. I'm sure when he returns, he will have an opinion opposite of yours . Steve -
Wow, lots of good arguments on many fronts. But I will still have to go with Steve, as I stated here But that is just my opinion . Thanks for the poll Kevin . Steve

Let The Music Play CH 19: Then there were Two

So I finally got to log on and saw that LTMP 19 was posted Then I read it I must say after reading the conclusion of the chapter, in my opinion, you have sole claim CJ to the title of: :king: :king: Queen Of The Evilest Cliffhangers :king: :king: I then went back and reread LiS 26, and I must say that it unequivocally pales in comparison to LTMP 19. You easily put it to shame CJ / Now, before we go and roast, hack, spill blood, and mount body parts above fire places, I will weigh in my opinion of the conclusion of the chapter. Often CJ has stated that the titles can be about the chapter, or they can mislead us as in "The Kiss". I think if you look at this title "Then there were two", I would point out that there is 4 members in Instinct, and 3 members in The Shadows. So since CJ killed off another character, I would say it was one of the Shadows. Also the next chapter is called "The show must go on". Wouldn't it be easier to go on with losing the warm up act than if they lost one of the members of the lead act? I do believe it was Steve that has exited stage left early due to a couple of clues. First was when Eric caught his expression when he looked over and saw Wilde with a blond on his lap. Second, was that of anyone, Steve was most concerned about the image seen, and how he would look. I do believe Eric was confronting Wilde about his and Steve's relationship when Steve got to the top of the cliff and overheard Eric. Already shaky from free climbing the cliff, and the shock of what he heard, I would guess he fell backwards off the cliff. As far as Chase, he was harnessed and being belayed by Zeke from the bottom, so the chances of him falling is slim to none. Lastly, at the conclusion of the chapter, Helen said she wanted to see how the rest of her boys are doing. I would say she wants to check up with all four boys of Instinct to see how they are doing after seeing a member of The Shadows die in front of them. As far as the white car, yes I do believe it was the paparazzi. They got the story out quickly because they witnessed the event. Notice that Barbara wouldn't say the name of Helen's favourite because she knew how she would react? Yet she gave the name. I did really enjoy the chapter CJ . I take it the bombs will be transported to the docks in Melbourne and move elsewhere from Australia as well. I loved the way "Shirley" help Brandon, Chase, Helen and Barbara get revenge on Eric and Jon . With all the suspense that the final chapter had in it, I think I should remind CJ about his statement about if someone guessed future chapters possibly getting an advance release of the next chapter . I do believe I may have suggested them going to Red Rock Canyon, and since I can't wait six days, care to forward LTMP 20 to my inbox CJ???? Like tonight!!! Hope everyone had a great Christmas even though we did have to deal with this chapter. Steve -
Merry Christmas Everyone!!! I'm off for the next 3 days and probably won't have internet service over that time. I just wanted to wish everyone here at the GA Family a very Merry Christmas and hopefully Santa is good to you all. Thank you everyone for your comments about the story. I'm glad it has maybe given you some insight into CJ and his motives. I'm also happy that it is spurring some discussion here as well. For those of you who don't celebrate Christmas, please accept my well wishes at this time that some people like me try to focus on others for a few special days in the year. I hope everyone enjoys the final week of 2007, and live everyday to the fullest. When you look back on the past year, hopefully it is nothing but good memories. Take care all . Steve

I think you misinterpreted it . The way I read it was you were faced with a choice of freeing CJ to the world or to make him somebody's dinner. You being the better human being showed compassion, understanding, and did the right thing instead of what may have been the popular thing . Either that, or revert back to Rule #1 of CJ's. You decide . Steve
