    Weekly Wrap Up
    I know most of the members here are from the US of A, and this week is their time to celebrate Thanksgiving. If you want to take a moment and let us know what you are thankful for this year, and you don't have to be American, add in a comment . Then on TV, US shows are having their fall finales, so in that light, I'm dedicating today's blog as the GA Fall Weekly Blog Finale!!  
     
    Now on to what wrapped up our fall season , stay tuned for the all new Winter lineup starting tomorrow!!

    Weekly Wrap Up
    Lest we forget
     
    In case you are wondering what this is, it is something that is done in countries around the world, but my exposure has always been in Canada. Today is November 11th and Remembrance Day. It is a day to reflect on those that have served and still serving for their countries. It doesn't matter what side they were on, they were willing to put their own lives on the line to defend what they believed in. This year also marks the 100th Anniversary of Armistice, the end of the 1st World War. Different countries have different names, but it is all for the same reason.
     
    Please share a Canadian Tradition; On the 11th hour on the 11th day, or the 11th month, take a personal 2 minutes of silence to honour all of those whom stood up for all of us and those that continue to do so. '
    Apologies to those around the globe that the day has mainly past
     
    So, shall we now take a look at the week in review?
     
    Monday, Cia introduce us to November's Can't Stop Reading feature:
     
    Wednesday, Carlos started a 2nd year of Ask a Author with a ton of questions and answers for our Authors.
     
    Friday was our weekly check in to see what comicfan had to get the juices flowing. Creative juices that is . Also a reminder about the fall anthology due Thursday.
     
    Saturday, Comsie presented us with another GA Article, something that happened a lot back in the day, and still occasional does.

But then again, I can only remember those two lines  Well enough of my childhood musings and give you all fair warning, I am tuckered out from Halloween....already .     by Mark Arbour
     
    Millennium is the tenth story in the CAP Saga. Brad is the narrator, and takes us from 1999 into 2000. Many of the characters in this story were introduced in “Chronicles of an Academic Predator,” “1968,” “The Land Whore,” “Be Rad,” “Man in Motion,” “A Summer Love,” “If It Fits,” “Bloodlines,” and “The Box.” You don't have to read them before this story, but it will give you a deeper insight into those characters and their pasts.

    Well we just missed a Friday the 13th by a day  Would have been great to have one in this month. I know that some of our non North American friends don't see the hype over Halloween, but we all here do! A chance to become someone else, to come up with new and better ideas on how to scare someone, or revisit an old one. So if you are not into Halloween, why not join us and let your hair down and take in all the fun that we are having here at GA! Actually, why not comment simply your country, if you wish, and if Halloween is a big thing in your neck of the woods.

    Well I'm currently freezing to death with close to 0 C or 32 F weather in mid September . But that is nothing to what our members in the Carolina's and Georgia as well as our many members in the Philippines are going through. Here's hoping you are all safe and secure through these trying times
     
    Shall we take a look at what happened over the past week?
     
    Monday, Cia brought us a Story Review. i even heard that the author, K.C. is lurking around the site again
     
    Tuesday was big, as in a very detailed update from Myr on Tech Tuesday about Series and the new option; Worlds:
     
    Wednesday we had a Birthday Party 🎂! Who's you ask? GA is 16 years old I shall apply for a drivers license for GA this week.
     
    Thursday, Graeme brought us the next step in voting for next years Anthology Themes. If you are an Poet or Author, make sure you get your vote in today!
     
    Friday, Cia launched another round of Writing Prompts from Comicfan:

    What to say this week?
     
    Oh, I thought I would like to pass on my sincere thanks and appreciation to our LBO, aka Slytherin, who has some exciting changes coming up in her life and has stepped aside from the Site Moderation Team. Her participation and help with the behind the scenes work on the site has been a great contribution over the years! So, on behalf of the Site Staff and hopefully the membership, thanks LBO.   BTW, LBO stands for Little Blue One, not to be confused with the Liquor Board of Ontario
     
    So we had a busier week last week now that the dog days of summer has passed us up North. Cia started off the week with our next CSR author and story:
     
    Tuesday we had the start up of Tech Tuesday again by Myr:
     
    Wednesday was Carlos turn again to step onto the dance floor and bring another addition of Ask An Author 2.0:
     
    Thursday, Myr let us know that the Anthology Thursdays are back up and running:
     
    Friday, Cia brought us another couple of prompts from Comicfan to get the creative juices flowing AND Cia somehow dissed an entire nation as well

    Well, it has come The semi official end of Summer in my little area of the world. Today we had rain, we had hail, an hour west of me they had the S word flying though the air . Hoping everyone else is having less seasonal weather than me! I do realize that the southern hemisphere is ramping up for Summer, and other places don't really have a winter, but seasons are a changing!

    Well hello everyone! Happy Sunday I hope for you all. I was shocked to hear that the schools in some parts of the US are back in already. What about your neck of the woods, what is the school year like? I imagine down under and elsewhere it is probably ramping up for summer holidays soon. I think it is interesting when you read a story from another country than your own, as I actually learn more about that country in a way that is never taught in school.

    First off, let's do a plug here at the beginning of the wrap up to recognize GA's original Hosted Author, on his 20 years of posting on the interwebs, Comicality. He is definitely one of our largest drawing authors to this day. So putting Tuesday in front of Monday, lets see what Myr and others had to say:
     
    So back to Monday , Cia introduced us to a new Classic Author for June.
     
    Actually this worked out good going from Monday to Wednesday, Cia followed up more with our Classic Author Excerpt for June.
     
    And what comes after Wednesday? I'm not too sure anymore Myr posted this sometime during the week
     
    Yay! It is Friday I know that not only due to the last day of a M-F work week, but because we have Prompts!

    Trevor, through little fault of his own, finds himself with few choices. Desperate and hunted, he decides that his best chance is to head out to sea on his boat, for a circumnavigation of the Earth. His boat, Atlantis, is a fifty-five foot cruising catamaran, bequeathed to him by his mother prior to her mysterious disappearance. Come along for the ride and explore with Trevor, as he discovers many things, not the least of which is himself.
